| CVE-2026-4424 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 21 Libarchive, Ai Inference Server, Discovery and 18 more | 2026-08-31 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. This heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RAR archive processing logic due to improper validation of the LZSS sliding window size after transitions between compression methods. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted RAR archive, leading to the disclosure of sensitive heap memory information without requiring authentication or user interaction. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4408 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more | 2026-08-31 | 9 Critical |
| A flaw was found in Samba. A remote attacker can exploit a misconfiguration in Samba file servers and classic domain controllers that use the "check password script" feature. If this script is configured with the %u substitution character, the client-controlled username is passed without proper escaping of shell meta-characters. This vulnerability allows an attacker to achieve remote command execution on the affected system. This issue primarily affects non-standard configurations where the "check password script" is used with %u and the samba-dcerpcd service is started as a system service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4111 | 1 Redhat | 11 Ai Inference Server, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 8 more | 2026-08-31 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was identified in the RAR5 archive decompression logic of the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_data() processing path. When a specially crafted RAR5 archive is processed, the decompression routine may enter a state where internal logic prevents forward progress. This condition results in an infinite loop that continuously consumes CPU resources. Because the archive passes checksum validation and appears structurally valid, affected applications cannot detect the issue before processing. This can allow attackers to cause persistent denial-of-service conditions in services that automatically process archives. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62382 | 1 Pglombardo | 1 Password Pusher | 2026-08-31 | N/A |
| PasswordPusher versions v1.45.11 through v2.9.5 contain an improper authorization vulnerability in the push deletion logic. The ownership check compares @push.user against current_user; for an anonymously created push both values are nil, and Ruby evaluates nil == nil as true, so the check passes and the deletable_by_viewer restriction is never enforced. An attacker who knows only the secret URL can permanently delete an anonymous push even when the creator disabled viewer deletion and even without the passphrase. Only deployments that allow anonymous pushes (the default) are affected. The issue is fixed in v2.9.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79072 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-08-31 | 8.1 High |
| Improper state validation in Performance in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to potentially read memory inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) | ||||
| CVE-2026-79106 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-08-31 | 4.3 Medium |
| Improper input validation in Input in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process and leveraged social engineering to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | ||||
| CVE-2026-16313 | 1 Redhat | 8 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 5 more | 2026-08-31 | 7.6 High |
| A flaw was found in sg3_utils. The sg_inq command, when invoked with the --export option, outputs device identification data without sanitizing control characters in SCSI name string fields. A newline character embedded in a device-supplied name string can inject arbitrary properties into the udev device database. This could allow an attacker who can present a crafted SCSI device to execute arbitrary commands as root when the device is disconnected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-51724 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | ||
| Incorrect access control in the delSmartQosCfg function of TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows unauthenticated attackers to remove Smart QoS rules via sending a crafted POST request to /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14474 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 6 more | 2026-08-31 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in SSSD's LDAP sudo provider. When the ldap_sudo_search_base option is not explicitly configured, SSSD searches the entire LDAP directory tree for sudoRole objects. An authenticated attacker with write access to any subtree can inject a sudoRole object granting root-level sudo privileges on all SSSD-enrolled hosts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79107 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-08-31 | 6.5 Medium |
| Incorrect authorization in TabGroups in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to potentially leak sensitive information via crafted network traffic. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | ||||
| CVE-2026-12505 | 1 Redhat | 4 Cifs-utils, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-08-31 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the cifs-utils package where the cifs.upcall helper fails to securely drop its root privileges before looking up user information inside a user-controlled environment. A local, low privileged attacker can exploit this by using a crafted request_key payload to trick the root-owned helper into entering a custom environment (namespace) containing a malicious NSS module. This forces the system to load the attacker's controlled NSS Module and configuration, allowing them to execute arbitrary commands as the root user, elevating their privileges and fully compromising the system. | ||||

| UI misrepresentation in Web Authentication (Passkeys & Security Keys) in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) | ||||
