CVE-2026-37071 2026-08-28 N/A
Arbitrary File Rename Leading to Privilege Escalation in Actions::renameFile() function in Veno File Manager Project 4.4.9 allows an authenticated attacker with 'reanme' permission to take over the super administrator account via a specially crafted POST request to the affected endpoint renaming the application configuration file and triggering a rebuild of configuration and resetting super administrator credentials to default values.
CVE-2026-27140 2 Golang, Gotoolchain 2 Go, Cmd/go 2026-08-27 8.8 High
SWIG file names containing 'cgo' and well-crafted payloads could lead to code smuggling and arbitrary code execution at build time due to trust layer bypass.
CVE-2026-19632 2 Cozmoslabs, Wordpress 2 Translatepress – Translate Multilingual Sites With Ai Translation, Wordpress 2026-08-26 9.8 Critical
The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.1 via the 'trp_get_translations_regular' AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the raw administrator password-reset URL — including the plaintext reset key and login parameters stored in the translation dictionary table — enabling full administrator account takeover. This vulnerability is only exploitable when automatic string saving is enabled (the default setting) and the target administrator's profile locale is set to a published secondary language, as these conditions cause the password-reset URL to be persisted as a translatable string in the secondary-language dictionary table.
CVE-2026-78655 2026-08-26 9.1 Critical
Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl allow the second-factor attempt limit to be reset by replaying an earlier session cookie because the challenge route counts failures in the session. The POST handler on challenge_path keeps the failure count as tries inside the totp_pending record in the session, raising it on each rejected code and deleting the pending record once it reaches attempts, five by default. Punk::Session carries the session in a signed cookie unless the application declares a store, and keeps no server-side record, so an earlier value of the same session stays valid until the expiry stamped inside it. A client that saves the cookie before its failed attempts and presents it again gets the pending record back with its counter, and the limit never fires. The replayed record is accepted while its own expiry, pending_ttl seconds from the challenge and 300 by default, has not passed. Sessions declared with a store are not affected: the pending record and its counter then live server-side. The attempt limit does not bound guessing of the second factor, which is left to the per-address rate limit the plugin registers on the same path, 30 requests per 60 seconds.
CVE-2026-80196 1 Kimai 1 Kimai 2026-08-26 7.5 High
Kimai before 2.58.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability where password reset links remain valid after password changes because the LoginLink signature covers only the user id, not the password hash. Attackers who intercept or cache a password reset link can use it up to 2 additional times within a 1-hour window to log in as the user even after the legitimate user has changed their password.
CVE-2026-76018 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-08-25 8.8 High
Privilege elevation in Import in Google Chrome prior to 151.0.7922.173 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted file. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2018-11039 3 Debian, Oracle, Vmware 33 Debian Linux, Agile Product Lifecycle Management, Application Testing Suite and 30 more 2026-08-25 5.9 Medium
Spring Framework (versions 5.0.x prior to 5.0.7, versions 4.3.x prior to 4.3.18, and older unsupported versions) allow web applications to change the HTTP request method to any HTTP method (including TRACE) using the HiddenHttpMethodFilter in Spring MVC. If an application has a pre-existing XSS vulnerability, a malicious user (or attacker) can use this filter to escalate to an XST (Cross Site Tracing) attack.
CVE-2026-68130 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-23 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: defer destroy_previous_session() until after NTLM authentication In ntlm_authenticate(), destroy_previous_session() is called using a user pointer resolved from the client-supplied NTLM blob username field before the NTLMv2 response is validated. An authenticated attacker can set the NTLM blob username to match a victim account and set PreviousSessionId to the victim's session ID; destroy_previous_session() destroys the victim's session while ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob() subsequently rejects the request with -EPERM. Move destroy_previous_session() and the prev_id assignment to after ksmbd_decode_ntlmssp_auth_blob() returns success and use sess->user rather than the pre-authentication lookup result. This matches the ordering already used by krb5_authenticate(), where destroy_previous_session() is called only after ksmbd_krb5_authenticate() returns success.
CVE-2026-74467 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/qeth: Check CAP_NET_ADMIN for private ioctls Gate the SIOCDEVPRIVATE ioctl commands SIOC_QETH_ADP_SET_SNMP_CONTROL, SIOC_QETH_GET_CARD_TYPE and SIOC_QETH_QUERY_OAT with CAP_NET_ADMIN capable check to ensure unprivileged users cannot invoke them.
CVE-2026-18963 1 Redhat 6 Build Keycloak, Build Of Keycloak, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform Expansion Pack and 3 more 2026-08-21 9.1 Critical
A flaw was found in the reset-credentials flow of the keycloak-services component, which is the core engine for identity and access management in Red Hat Build of Keycloak. The issue allows an unauthenticated attacker to force the password reset process for any user without needing to click the required email verification link. This can result in the attacker gaining full control over target user accounts by directly setting new credentials.
CVE-2026-69183 1 Monkeytype 1 Monkeytype 2026-08-21 7.5 High
Monkeytype is a minimalistic and customizable typing test. In 26.26.0 and earlier, the backend rate-limit key generator in backend/src/middlewares/rate-limit.ts uses client-controlled cf-connecting-ip and x-forwarded-for headers before the trust-proxy-derived req.ip value. An unauthenticated attacker can rotate either header to create a new bucket for each request, bypassing rootRateLimiter, badAuthRateLimiter, getKey(), and the getKeyWithUid() fallback used by public endpoints. This permits repeated POST /users/forgotPasswordEmail and verificationEmail requests, mail bombing registered users, consuming Firebase or SMTP quota, evading brute-force protection, and enabling resource exhaustion. Exploitability of cf-connecting-ip depends on deployment topology, but x-forwarded-for and direct-to-origin paths remain affected when those values are not overwritten by a trusted proxy. No fixed version is available as of this review.
CVE-2026-77264 2 101gen, Wordpress 2 Automation Web Platform – Notifications And Otp For Woocommerce, Advanced Country Code, Wordpress 2026-08-21 9.8 Critical
The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 4.8.6. This is due to the handle_email_otp_return() function returning the secret magic login token in the response to a publicly accessible OTP request, rather than only delivering it to the user's email address. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user on the site, including administrators, if they know that user's email address.
CVE-2020-15664 2 Mozilla, Redhat 7 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Firefox Mobile and 4 more 2026-08-19 6.5 Medium
By holding a reference to the eval() function from an about:blank window, a malicious webpage could have gained access to the InstallTrigger object which would allow them to prompt the user to install an extension. Combined with user confusion, this could result in an unintended or malicious extension being installed. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 80, Thunderbird < 78.2, Thunderbird < 68.12, Firefox ESR < 68.12, Firefox ESR < 78.2, and Firefox for Android < 80.
CVE-2026-74950 1 Mozilla 2 Firefox, Thunderbird 2026-08-19 8.8 High
Privilege escalation in the Downloads API component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, and Thunderbird 153.1.
CVE-2026-15689 1 Abeverley 1 Dancer2::plugin::auth::extensible 2026-08-17 9.8 Critical
Dancer2::Plugin::Auth::Extensible versions through 0.713 for Perl allow password reset link poisoning via the request Host header in _default_email_password_reset and _default_welcome_send. Both default emails emit a link of the form `$base/login/$code`, whose authority comes from the request Host header, or from X-Forwarded-Host under behind_proxy (obtained from Dancer2's request->base function). A POST to /login carrying submit_reset and a username needs no authentication: it stores a fresh reset code against that account and mails the account holder a link to a host of the sender's choosing. The welcome mail takes the same path when the application calls create_user with email_welcome set. Through 0.711 the handlers read `request->uri_base` and `request->base` directly; Versions 0.712 and later provide an uri_base configuration key that defaults to the untrusted `request->uri_base` when unset. The default configuration with reset_password_handler enabled and the default message text, a recipient who follows the link hands a working reset code to the sender's host, which is enough to take over the account.
CVE-2026-72090 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-17 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: Use caller client for debug BO sync amdxdna_drm_sync_bo_ioctl() looks up args->handle in the ioctl caller's drm_file. For SYNC_DIRECT_FROM_DEVICE, it then calls amdxdna_hwctx_sync_debug_bo(), but passes abo->client. amdxdna_hwctx_sync_debug_bo() uses the passed client both as the handle namespace for debug_bo_hdl and as the owner of the hardware context xarray. Those must match the file that supplied args->handle. The BO's stored client pointer is object state, not the ioctl context. Pass filp->driver_priv instead, matching the original handle lookup.
CVE-2026-72379 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-17 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: refuse O_TMPFILE creation with an unmapped fsuid or fsgid vfs_tmpfile() never checked that the caller's fsuid and fsgid map into the filesystem. On an idmapped mount whose idmapping does not cover the caller's fs{u,g}id, the ->tmpfile() instance initializes the new inode through inode_init_owner(), where mapped_fsuid()/mapped_fsgid() return INVALID_UID/INVALID_GID, and the tmpfile ends up owned by (uid_t)-1. Every other creation path already refuses this: may_o_create() (O_CREAT) and may_create_dentry() (mkdir, mknod, symlink, link) bail out with -EOVERFLOW via fsuidgid_has_mapping() precisely so that an object cannot be created with an owner the filesystem cannot represent. An O_TMPFILE is no exception: it is created I_LINKABLE and linkat(2) can splice it into the namespace afterwards, so the same guarantee must hold. Add the missing fsuidgid_has_mapping() check to vfs_tmpfile(). On a non-idmapped mount the caller's fs{u,g}id always map in the superblock's user namespace, so this is a no-op there and only takes effect on an idmapped mount that does not map the caller. It applies to every filesystem that sets FS_ALLOW_IDMAP and implements ->tmpfile() (tmpfs, ext4, btrfs, xfs, f2fs, ...), and to overlayfs, whose upper-layer tmpfile creation funnels through vfs_tmpfile() via backing_tmpfile_open().
