CVSS v3.1 |
| Unchecked Return Value vulnerability in ash-project ash_postgres allows a user who can drive a tenant rename to a name that collides with an existing tenant's schema to have their tenant record repointed at that other tenant's live schema, gaining access to its data.
AshPostgres.MultiTenancy.rename_tenant/3 issues the ALTER SCHEMA ... RENAME TO ... with the non-raising Ecto.Adapters.SQL.query/2, discards its {:ok, _} | {:error, _} result, and unconditionally returns :ok. PostgreSQL rejects the rename when the target schema already exists (and on insufficient privilege or lock timeout), but that failure never reaches the caller. The calling manage_tenant update action therefore sees success and commits the tenant row with the new name, which is the schema of a different existing tenant, so subsequent reads and writes for that tenant run against the other tenant's data.
This issue affects ash_postgres: from 0.25.0 before 2.13.0. |
| rust-iot-platform through commit 5df942ab stores user passwords in cleartext without hashing in the user model. Attackers can read API responses from user retrieval and listing routes to obtain plaintext credentials for all accounts. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
perf sched: Fix register_pid() overflow, strcpy, and BUG_ON
register_pid() has several issues when processing untrusted perf.data:
1. Integer overflow: (pid + 1) * sizeof(struct task_desc *) can wrap
to a small value on 32-bit systems when pid is large (e.g.
0x40000000), causing realloc to return a tiny buffer followed by
out-of-bounds writes in the initialization loop.
2. Heap buffer overflow: strcpy(task->comm, comm) copies the
untrusted comm string into a fixed 20-byte COMM_LEN buffer with
no length check.
3. BUG_ON on allocation failure: perf.data is untrusted input, so
allocation failures should be handled gracefully rather than
killing the process.
4. Realloc of sched->tasks assigned directly back, leaking the old
pointer on failure; nr_tasks incremented before the realloc,
leaving corrupted state on failure.
Cap pid at PID_MAX_LIMIT (4194304, matching the kernel's maximum
on 64-bit), replace strcpy with strlcpy, guard against NULL comm,
replace BUG_ON with NULL returns using safe realloc patterns, and
add NULL checks in callers that dereference the result. |
| Nokogiri versions before 1.19.1 fail to check the return value from xmlC14NExecute in the canonicalize method, returning an empty string on failure instead of raising an exception. Attackers can exploit this to bypass signature validation in downstream SAML libraries by providing invalid canonicalized XML that is incorrectly accepted as valid. |
| Execution with unnecessary privileges in Microsoft High Performance Computing (HPC) Pack allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Ignition by Inductive Automation, when installed with default OS service
account settings, may expose the host system to an elevated code
execution risk via the gateway backup restore functionality. An
authenticated user with Gateway Administrator privileges can import a
malicious gateway backup (.gwbk) file containing crafted project
resources, scripts, or modules, resulting in code execution on the host
system. This affects both Windows and Linux installations. On Windows,
default installations often run the Ignition service as NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, resulting in code execution with full local system
privileges. On Linux, default installations commonly run the Ignition
service as root or with elevated privileges. Specific privilege level
depends on installation configuration. |
| A vulnerability was identified in vas3k TaxHacker up to 0.8.2. The affected element is the function envSchema.parse of the file lib/config.ts of the component JWT Secret Handler. The manipulation of the argument BETTER_AUTH_SECRET leads to hard-coded credentials. The attack can be initiated remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| tor before 0.4.9.9 was prone to a NULL write after free when sending a CONFLUX_SWITCH cell fails. The return value of relay_send_command_from_edge() was ignored, so a send failure (which calls circuit_mark_for_close() and removes the leg via cfx_del_leg()) would go undetected, causing the caller to write to the now-freed current leg and resulting in a crash. This is TROVE-2026-017. |
| A flaw was found in the RHOAI training-operator. This vulnerability allows a user with standard edit or admin roles in any Kubernetes namespace to escalate their privileges. Through the creation of training jobs, an attacker can impersonate service accounts, access the host filesystem, and potentially execute arbitrary code remotely. This issue arises from the aggregation of training job permissions onto native Kubernetes edit and admin ClusterRoles, coupled with unrestricted PodTemplateSpec passthrough. |
| A flaw was found in the Data Science Pipelines Operator (DSPO). The operator's ClusterRole, which defines its permissions, includes extensive privileges beyond what is necessary for its operation. These excessive permissions, such as the ability to execute commands within pods and manage cluster-wide roles, could be exploited. If the DSPO pod were compromised, an attacker could leverage these privileges to gain full administrative control over the entire Kubernetes cluster. |
| Prometheus is an open-source monitoring system and time series database. Prior to versions 3.5.3 and 3.11.3, the client_secret field in the Azure AD remote write OAuth configuration (storage/remote/azuread) was typed as string instead of Secret. Prometheus redacts fields of type Secret when serving the configuration via the /-/config HTTP API endpoint. Because the field was a plain string, the Azure OAuth client secret was exposed in plaintext to any user or process with access to that endpoint. This issue has been patched in versions 3.5.3 and 3.11.3. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: propagate errors from xfs_rtginode_load
xfs_rtginode_ensure() treats every xfs_rtginode_load() error other than
-ENOENT as success. This can leave the realtime group inode unset after an
I/O, allocation, or corruption error. Growfs then continues as though the
inode had been loaded.
Only -ENOENT means that the inode needs to be created. Return all other
errors to the growfs caller. |
| A flaw was found in insights-client. The component's ServiceAccount is bound to a ClusterRole granting cluster-wide secrets get, list, and watch permissions, while the code only requires access to a single specific Secret. This excessive privilege means that a compromise of the insights-client pod or ServiceAccount token would grant an attacker read access to all Secrets across the hub cluster, including managed-cluster kubeconfigs and other sensitive credentials. |
| A flaw was found in the multicloud-operators-subscription component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM). This vulnerability allows a namespace-admin tenant to perform a confused-deputy attack by creating Subscription Custom Resources (CRs) that leverage a highly privileged ServiceAccount (SA). This enables the tenant to deploy arbitrary cluster-scoped resources, leading to privilege escalation and potential arbitrary code execution across the cluster. |
| A flaw was found in search-v2-operator. The operator's ClusterRole has permissions equivalent to a cluster administrator, allowing it to impersonate other entities, write Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) configurations, approve Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs), and manage ManifestWork. This grants excessive privileges beyond what is necessary for the operator's intended function, potentially leading to privilege escalation within the cluster. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: don't swallow dquot recovery verification errors
xlog_recover_dquot_commit_pass2() validates the recovered dquot with
xfs_dqblk_verify() and, on failure, sets error = -EFSCORRUPTED and jumps
to out_release. But out_release unconditionally returns 0, so the
corruption error is discarded: the caller xlog_recover_items_pass2()
sees success, log recovery proceeds as if the dquot were valid, and the
corrupt quota buffer can be written back to disk. |
| Local privilege escalation through insecure DCOM configuration in Valmet DNA versions prior to C2023. The DCOM object Valmet DNA Engineering has permissions that allow it to run commands as a user with the SeImpersonatePrivilege privilege. The SeImpersonatePrivilege privilege is a Windows permission that allows a process to impersonate another user. An attacker can use this vulnerability to escalate their privileges and take complete control of the system. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the Restricted Access (Kiosk) Mode implementation of Scheidt & Bachmann entervo HMI prior to V2 R5 P0 M5. The vulnerability affects the external PDF viewer functionality used to display the application manual and its interaction with the underlying Windows operating system. An authenticated low-privileged user can escape the kiosk environment by opening the application manual in the external PDF viewer and abusing the print functionality. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary commands outside the kiosk environment with local administrator privileges. |
| SKYSEA Client View and SKYMEC IT Manager contain a path traversal vulnerability. If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker who can log in to a Windows system on which the affected product is installed may be able to execute arbitrary code on another Windows system that has the affected products installed and can receive UDP packets from that system. Note that this vulnerability is due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-41726. |
| Privilege elevation in Import in Google Chrome prior to 151.0.7922.173 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted file. (Chromium security severity: High) |
