CVSS v3.1 |
| URI versions before 5.36 for Perl encode non-NFC host names to non-standard punycode labels via missing normalization in nameprep.
nameprep lowercases each host label but performs no Unicode normalization. IDNA requires a label to be normalized to Form C before it is encoded (RFC 5891), so a label that is not already in NFC is encoded to a different A-label than its normalized form. A label built from the precomposed Devanagari sequence U+0958 U+093E encodes to xn--72b5c without normalization but to xn--11b2fg after NFC normalization, and xn--72b5c does not round-trip back to the original label.
Any caller that reads host() from a URI built from untrusted input and uses it for a security decision (an allow or deny list, an SSRF filter, deduplication, a cache key) sees the non-standard label, while a client that fetches the same URL resolves the NFC form, so the check and the fetch can disagree about the host. |
A vulnerability was detected in open62541 up to 1.5.5. Affected by this vulnerability is the function UA_DataValue_backend_copyRange of the file plugins/historydata/ua_history_data_backend_memory.c of the component History Backend. The manipulation results in use after free. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The project closed the issue report, stating that this is not the official way to report a security vulnerability.
A vulnerability was determined in Systerel S2OPC up to 1.7.3. The affected element is the function set_range_matrix_on_string_array of the file src/Common/opcua_types/sopc_builtintypes.c of the component String Array Range Writing. This manipulation causes out-of-bounds read. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A vulnerability was detected in D-Link DIR-825M 1.1.8. This affects the function sub_46725C of the file /boafrm/formDiskFormat of the component Disk Formatting Handler Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument partition results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used.
A vulnerability was determined in Open5GS up to 2.7.7. This vulnerability affects the function amf_namf_comm_decode_ue_mm_context_list of the file src/amf/namf-handler.c of the component AMF. This manipulation of the argument ueContext.mmContextList[*].allowedNssai causes memory corruption. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Upgrading to version 2.8.0 is able to resolve this issue. Patch name: abf8a836564b966b5141110fc25ed413c4f17522. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
An integer overflow in the /nnrf-disc/v1/nf-instances component of open5gs v2.7.6 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted HTTP/2 GET request.
morgan is an HTTP request logger middleware for Node.js. In versions prior to 1.12.0, the internal helper that escapes log token values did not neutralize the Unicode line separator characters U+0085 (Next Line), U+2028 (Line Separator), and U+2029 (Paragraph Separator). An unauthenticated remote client can place these characters in an attacker-controlled log token, for example a Basic auth username surfaced through the remote-user token, so that Unicode-aware downstream log processing splits a single request log into multiple logical records. This is a log forging issue (CWE-117) and an incomplete-fix follow-up to CVE-2026-5078, which only addressed ASCII control characters. The issue is fixed in morgan 1.12.0, which extends the escaping set to cover these Unicode line separators. Upgrade to morgan 1.12.0 to remediate.
A security flaw has been discovered in NASA cFS up to 7.0.1. The affected element is the function CFE_SB_GetUserDataLength of the file src/cFS/cfe/modules/sb/fsw/src/cfe_sb_util.c of the component cFE Software Bus. Performing a manipulation of the argument TotalMsgSize/HdrSize results in integer underflow. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A heap-based buffer overflow problem was found in glib through an incorrect calculation of buffer size in the g_escape_uri_string() function. If the string to escape contains a very large number of unacceptable characters (which would need escaping), the calculation of the length of the escaped string could overflow, leading to a potential write off the end of the newly allocated string.
A flaw was found in libxml2's xmlBuildQName function, where integer overflows in buffer size calculations can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can result in memory corruption or a denial of service when processing crafted input.
A flaw was found in the libssh library in versions less than 0.11.2. An out-of-bounds read can be triggered in the sftp_handle function due to an incorrect comparison check that permits the function to access memory beyond the valid handle list and to return an invalid pointer, which is used in further processing. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker to potentially read unintended memory regions, exposing sensitive information or affect service behavior.
Out of bounds read in Media in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to read memory outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A flaw was found in libarchive. This heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RAR archive processing logic due to improper validation of the LZSS sliding window size after transitions between compression methods. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted RAR archive, leading to the disclosure of sensitive heap memory information without requiring authentication or user interaction.
A flaw was found in SSSD's LDAP sudo provider. When the ldap_sudo_search_base option is not explicitly configured, SSSD searches the entire LDAP directory tree for sudoRole objects. An authenticated attacker with write access to any subtree can inject a sudoRole object granting root-level sudo privileges on all SSSD-enrolled hosts.
Out of bounds read in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to read memory inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory.
Off-by-one error in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to potentially read memory inside the sandbox via a crafted Chrome extension. (Chromium security severity: Low)
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_format_rar_seek_data() function. This flaw involves an integer overflow that can ultimately lead to a double-free condition. Exploiting a double-free vulnerability can result in memory corruption, enabling an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial-of-service condition.
A flaw was found in rsync which could be triggered when rsync compares file checksums. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time.
SvelteKit versions before 2.69.1 contain a prototype pollution vulnerability in remote form functions with file input fields that accept arbitrary user-controlled path names. Attackers can manipulate the deletion path to remove methods on the prototype, potentially disabling application functionality.
