| CVE-2026-113957 | 1 Apple | 2 Container, Containerization | 2026-10-29 | N/A |
| An attacker who controls the registry, a mirror, or the network path to it may be able to serve arbitrary image content in response to a pull by digest, so that a user runs an image other than the one they pinned. The fix compares the returned digest to the pinned digest and fails the pull on a mismatch. Tag pulls are exempt, because a tag is mutable by design. The fix also verifies the hash of manifests and blobs when they are fetched. This vulnerability is addressed in container version 1.6.0 and containerization version 0.52.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-65388 | 1 Apple | 1 Containerization | 2026-09-17 | 7.5 High |
| A remote attacker who controls a container registry may be able to direct a client's token request to a host of the attacker's choice, and disclose the victim's registry credentials to that host. This vulnerability is addressed in containerization version 0.41.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20613 | 1 Apple | 2 Container, Containerization | 2026-04-18 | 7.8 High |
| The ArchiveReader.extractContents() function used by cctl image load and container image load performs no pathname validation before extracting an archive member. This means that a carelessly or maliciously constructed archive can extract a file into any user-writable location on the system using relative pathnames. This issue is addressed in container 0.8.0 and containerization 0.21.0. | ||||
