| CVE-2025-38565 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/core: Exit early on perf_mmap() fail When perf_mmap() fails to allocate a buffer, it still invokes the event_mapped() callback of the related event. On X86 this might increase the perf_rdpmc_allowed reference counter. But nothing undoes this as perf_mmap_close() is never called in this case, which causes another reference count leak. Return early on failure to prevent that. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38563 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/core: Prevent VMA split of buffer mappings The perf mmap code is careful about mmap()'ing the user page with the ringbuffer and additionally the auxiliary buffer, when the event supports it. Once the first mapping is established, subsequent mapping have to use the same offset and the same size in both cases. The reference counting for the ringbuffer and the auxiliary buffer depends on this being correct. Though perf does not prevent that a related mapping is split via mmap(2), munmap(2) or mremap(2). A split of a VMA results in perf_mmap_open() calls, which take reference counts, but then the subsequent perf_mmap_close() calls are not longer fulfilling the offset and size checks. This leads to reference count leaks. As perf already has the requirement for subsequent mappings to match the initial mapping, the obvious consequence is that VMA splits, caused by resizing of a mapping or partial unmapping, have to be prevented. Implement the vm_operations_struct::may_split() callback and return unconditionally -EINVAL. That ensures that the mapping offsets and sizes cannot be changed after the fact. Remapping to a different fixed address with the same size is still possible as it takes the references for the new mapping and drops those of the old mapping. | ||||

| CVE-2025-38557 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: apple: validate feature-report field count to prevent NULL pointer dereference A malicious HID device with quirk APPLE_MAGIC_BACKLIGHT can trigger a NULL pointer dereference whilst the power feature-report is toggled and sent to the device in apple_magic_backlight_report_set(). The power feature-report is expected to have two data fields, but if the descriptor declares one field then accessing field[1] and dereferencing it in apple_magic_backlight_report_set() becomes invalid since field[1] will be NULL. An example of a minimal descriptor which can cause the crash is something like the following where the report with ID 3 (power report) only references a single 1-byte field. When hid core parses the descriptor it will encounter the final feature tag, allocate a hid_report (all members of field[] will be zeroed out), create field structure and populate it, increasing the maxfield to 1. The subsequent field[1] access and dereference causes the crash. | CVE-2025-38546 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: atm: clip: Fix memory leak of struct clip_vcc. ioctl(ATMARP_MKIP) allocates struct clip_vcc and set it to vcc->user_back. The code assumes that vcc_destroy_socket() passes NULL skb to vcc->push() when the socket is close()d, and then clip_push() frees clip_vcc. However, ioctl(ATMARPD_CTRL) sets NULL to vcc->push() in atm_init_atmarp(), resulting in memory leak. Let's serialise two ioctl() by lock_sock() and check vcc->push() in atm_init_atmarp() to prevent memleak. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38544 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: Fix bug due to prealloc collision When userspace is using AF_RXRPC to provide a server, it has to preallocate incoming calls and assign to them call IDs that will be used to thread related recvmsg() and sendmsg() together. The preallocated call IDs will automatically be attached to calls as they come in until the pool is empty. To the kernel, the call IDs are just arbitrary numbers, but userspace can use the call ID to hold a pointer to prepared structs. In any case, the user isn't permitted to create two calls with the same call ID (call IDs become available again when the call ends) and EBADSLT should result from sendmsg() if an attempt is made to preallocate a call with an in-use call ID. However, the cleanup in the error handling will trigger both assertions in rxrpc_cleanup_call() because the call isn't marked complete and isn't marked as having been released. Fix this by setting the call state in rxrpc_service_prealloc_one() and then marking it as being released before calling the cleanup function. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38543 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/tegra: nvdec: Fix dma_alloc_coherent error check Check for NULL return value with dma_alloc_coherent, in line with Robin's fix for vic.c in 'drm/tegra: vic: Fix DMA API misuse'. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38540 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: quirks: Add quirk for 2 Chicony Electronics HP 5MP Cameras The Chicony Electronics HP 5MP Cameras (USB ID 04F2:B824 & 04F2:B82C) report a HID sensor interface that is not actually implemented. Attempting to access this non-functional sensor via iio_info causes system hangs as runtime PM tries to wake up an unresponsive sensor. Add these 2 devices to the HID ignore list since the sensor interface is non-functional by design and should not be exposed to userspace. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38537 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: phy: Don't register LEDs for genphy If a PHY has no driver, the genphy driver is probed/removed directly in phy_attach/detach. If the PHY's ofnode has an "leds" subnode, then the LEDs will be (un)registered when probing/removing the genphy driver. This could occur if the leds are for a non-generic driver that isn't loaded for whatever reason. Synchronously removing the PHY device in phy_detach leads to the following deadlock: rtnl_lock() ndo_close() ... phy_detach() phy_remove() phy_leds_unregister() led_classdev_unregister() led_trigger_set() netdev_trigger_deactivate() unregister_netdevice_notifier() rtnl_lock() There is a corresponding deadlock on the open/register side of things (and that one is reported by lockdep), but it requires a race while this one is deterministic. Generic PHYs do not support LEDs anyway, so don't bother registering them. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38535 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: tegra: xusb: Fix unbalanced regulator disable in UTMI PHY mode When transitioning from USB_ROLE_DEVICE to USB_ROLE_NONE, the code assumed that the regulator should be disabled. However, if the regulator is marked as always-on, regulator_is_enabled() continues to return true, leading to an incorrect attempt to disable a regulator which is not enabled. This can result in warnings such as: [ 250.155624] WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 7326 at drivers/regulator/core.c:3004 _regulator_disable+0xe4/0x1a0 [ 250.155652] unbalanced disables for VIN_SYS_5V0 To fix this, we move the regulator control logic into tegra186_xusb_padctl_id_override() function since it's directly related to the ID override state. The regulator is now only disabled when the role transitions from USB_ROLE_HOST to USB_ROLE_NONE, by checking the VBUS_ID register. This ensures that regulator enable/disable operations are properly balanced and only occur when actually transitioning to/from host mode. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57966 | 2 Redhat, Spice-space | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els, Spice-vdagent | 2026-11-05 | 4.4 Medium |
| A path traversal vulnerability was found in spice-vdagent. This flaw allows a malicious or compromised SPICE host to write arbitrary files to any location on the guest operating system. This occurs because the filename provided by the SPICE host during file transfers is not properly sanitized before being used. An attacker could exploit this to write to sensitive locations with the privileges of the spice-vdagent process, typically the logged-in user. This issue requires the SPICE host to be untrusted or compromised for exploitation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57965 | 2 Redhat, Spice-space | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els, Spice-vdagent | 2026-11-05 | 5.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in spice-vdagent. A malicious or compromised SPICE host can trigger an integer overflow by sending a specially crafted message. This vulnerability can lead to a heap buffer overflow, causing the spice-vdagent daemon to crash and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the virtual machine. This issue requires the SPICE host to be untrusted or compromised for exploitation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5704 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 7 Tar, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2026-11-05 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in tar. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious archive, leading to hidden file injection with fully attacker-controlled content. This bypasses pre-extraction inspection mechanisms, potentially allowing an attacker to introduce malicious files onto a system without detection. | ||||
| CVE-2026-117625 | 2 Jenkins, Jenkins Project | 2 Jenkins, Jenkins | 2026-11-05 | 4.3 Medium |
| A missing permission check in Jenkins 2.587 and earlier, LTS 2.580.1 and earlier allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to obtain the server, port, user name, and no-proxy host list of the configured HTTP proxy. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116132 | 1 Libwww-perl | 1 Http-body | 2026-11-05 | 7.1 High |
| HTTP::Body versions before 1.23_01 for Perl leave the temporary file of an incomplete multipart upload on disk. The multipart parser creates a temporary file as soon as a file part starts, but adds it to the upload list only when the part completes. Uploads are only ever deleted from that list, by the cleanup option or by the caller, so a body that ends inside a file part leaves its temporary file where nothing can find it. A remote attacker can fill the temporary directory by repeating such requests, leaving one file behind for each. | ||||
| CVE-2026-114134 | 1 Psf | 1 Black | 2026-11-05 | 8.8 High |
| Black is the uncompromising Python code formatter. Prior to 26.10.1, the Black GitHub Action with use_pyproject: true accepts tool.black.required-version from pyproject.toml without validating that it is a released Black version specifier. An attacker who can submit a pull request can change that field to a direct reference to attacker-controlled code, causing the workflow to install and execute the code in the victim repository's GitHub Actions context. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91913 | 1 Dell | 1 Openmanage Enterprise | 2026-11-05 | 8.8 High |
| Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Command execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66759 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in the file-icns plugin in GIMP. When applying a decompressed mask during ICNS image processing, the plugin reads from the mask data buffer without verifying if the cursor exceeds the allocated resource size. If a crafted file contains a truncated mask resource, the icns_decompress function continues reading past the bounds of the buffer. This out-of-bounds read vulnerability results in information disclosure of heap contents, where memory contents are leaked as alpha channel pixel values, or a crash leading to a denial of service if unmapped memory is accessed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66757 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the file-sgi plugin in GIMP. When processing an RLE-compressed SGI image, the plugin allocates memory for a row table. The image header dimensions (ysize and zsize) are read as 16-bit unsigned integers. If a crafted file sets both dimensions to their maximum value (65535), the multiplication ysize * zsize overflows the standard 32-bit int boundary before being passed to calloc. This integer overflow issue results in undefined behavior, aborting the plugin and causing a denial of service. | ||||
