CVE-2026-53580 1 Triliumnext 1 Trilium 2026-08-28 8.1 High
Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions prior to 0.104.0, the automatic image-download feature accepts file:// URLs in a note's img tags and reads the referenced local file with no path validation, allowing any authenticated user to disclose arbitrary files readable by the Trilium process. When a text note is saved, Trilium scans its HTML for image sources and downloads each external one; because the HTML sanitizer keeps file as an allowed scheme, a source such as file:///etc/passwd is passed straight to a filesystem read and its contents are stored as a note attachment the user can then retrieve. Pointing the same primitive at an unbounded source such as /dev/zero causes uncontrolled memory allocation that crashes the server process. The feature is enabled by default and is reachable through the web UI, the ETAPI, the web clipper, and note imports, requiring only an authenticated session or an ETAPI token. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0

CVE-2026-82251 1 Gitoxidelabs 1 Gitoxide 2026-08-28 7.5 High
gitoxide before 0.52.1 fails to validate submodule names from .gitmodules configuration, allowing path traversal when deriving submodule git directories. Attackers can craft malicious submodule names with traversal segments to redirect state() and open() functions to repositories outside .git/modules, causing repository confusion and inspection of attacker-controlled repositories.
CVE-2023-36664 4 Artifex, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 5 Ghostscript, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2026-08-28 7.8 High
Artifex Ghostscript before 10.01.2 mishandles permission validation for pipe devices (with the %pipe% prefix or the | pipe character prefix).
CVE-2026-48417 1 Adobe 1 Substance 3d Sampler 2026-08-28 7.8 High
Substance3D - Sampler is affected by a Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
CVE-2026-82252 1 Gitoxidelabs 1 Gitoxide 2026-08-28 7.5 High
gitoxide before 0.52.1 follows symlinks when reading the worktree .gitmodules file, allowing attackers to inject out-of-repository bytes into submodule metadata. Attackers can create a malicious repository with a symlinked .gitmodules pointing outside the repository tree, causing gitoxide to parse arbitrary external files as submodule configuration and expose attacker-controlled name, path, and url values.
CVE-2023-43902 1 Emudhra 1 Emsigner 2026-08-28 8.8 High
Incorrect access control in the Forgot Your Password function of eMudhra emSigner v2.8.7 allows unauthenticated attackers to access accounts of all registered users, including those with administrator privileges via a crafted password reset token.
CVE-2026-82254 1 Gitoxidelabs 1 Gitoxide 2026-08-28 7.5 High
gitoxide before 0.69.0 contains unchecked array indexing in delta application and uncapped allocation from attacker-controlled size headers in gix-pack. Attackers can send crafted pack data during clone or fetch operations to trigger panics or out-of-memory process kills.
CVE-2026-73626 1 Jupyter 1 Jupyterlab 2026-08-28 7.5 High
JupyterLab versions >=4.6.0,<=4.6.1 and <=4.5.9 contain an allowlist/blocklist enforcement gap in PyPIExtensionManager.install(). A missing 'await' caused the is_install_allowed coroutine to never execute, so the extension allowlist/blocklist check was not enforced for direct callers of install(). The stock JupyterLab HTTP API and Extension Manager UI are not affected, as they perform a separate, correctly awaited check. The issue affects only deployments where a custom extension or downstream integration imports PyPIExtensionManager and calls install() directly with a package name influenced by untrusted input, an allowlist/blocklist is configured, the PyPI Extension Manager is enabled, and kernels and terminals are disabled or delegated to remote hosts. Fixed in JupyterLab 4.6.2 and 4.5.10.
CVE-2026-14558 2026-08-28 7.2 High
The User Frontend WordPress plugin before 4.3.10 does not properly validate field type definitions and deserialises user-controlled post metadata when rendering submitted posts, allowing users with Editor-level access and above to inject arbitrary PHP objects, which can lead to remote code execution when a suitable POP chain is present on the site.
CVE-2026-53362 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: account for fraggap on the paged allocation path In __ip6_append_data(), when the paged-allocation branch is taken (MSG_MORE / NETIF_F_SG / large fraglen), alloclen and pagedlen are computed as alloclen = fragheaderlen + transhdrlen; pagedlen = datalen - transhdrlen; datalen already includes fraggap (datalen = length + fraggap). When fraggap is non-zero, this is not the first skb and transhdrlen is zero. The fraggap bytes carried over from the previous skb are copied just past the fragment headers in the new skb's linear area. The linear area is therefore undersized by fraggap bytes while pagedlen is overstated by the same amount, and the copy writes past skb->end into the trailing skb_shared_info. An unprivileged user can trigger this via a UDPv6 socket using MSG_MORE together with MSG_SPLICE_PAGES. The bad accounting was introduced by commit 773ba4fe9104 ("ipv6: avoid partial copy for zc"). Before commit ce650a166335 ("udp6: Fix __ip6_append_data()'s handling of MSG_SPLICE_PAGES"), the negative copy value caused -EINVAL to be returned. That later commit allowed MSG_SPLICE_PAGES to proceed in this case, making the corruption triggerable. The non-paged branch sets alloclen to fraglen, which already accounts for fraggap because datalen does. Bring the paged branch in line by adding fraggap to alloclen and subtracting it from pagedlen. After this adjustment, copy no longer collapses to -fraggap on the paged path, so remove the stale comment describing that old arithmetic. Since a negative copy is no longer expected for a valid MSG_SPLICE_PAGES case, remove the MSG_SPLICE_PAGES exception from the negative copy check.
CVE-2026-5097 2 Tomdever, Wordpress 2 Wpforo Forum, Wordpress 2026-08-28 7.5 High
The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'referer' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.17. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
CVE-2026-80553 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio_ccw: Cancel existing workqueues The initialization of the io_work and crw_work workqueues begs the question of whether they should be un-initialized. Add the corresponding cleanup tags in _release_dev to ensure work isn't dispatched after the private struct is free'd.
CVE-2026-80556 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: atmel-mci: Fix use-after-free in atmci_remove due to race condition In atmci_probe, &host->bh_work is bound with atmci_work_func, and atmci_interrupt, atmci_timeout_timer and atmci_dma_complete can all queue this work on system_bh_wq. If we remove the module, atmci_remove makes cleanup and the memory allocated for host with devm_kzalloc() is released after the remove callback returns, while the work mentioned above may still be pending or running. The sequence of operations that may lead to a UAF bug is as follows: CPU0 CPU1 | atmci_interrupt | queue_work(system_bh_wq, | &host->bh_work) atmci_remove | atmci_cleanup_slot(...) | atmci_writel(host, ATMCI_IDR, ~0UL) | timer_delete_sync(&host->timer) | dma_release_channel(host->dma.chan) | free_irq(platform_get_irq(pdev, 0), host) | | atmci_work_func | // use host // devm resources released after | // remove returns, host is freed | | // use host (use-after-free) Fix it by canceling the work after all the sources that can schedule it (IRQ handler, timeout timer and DMA completion callback) have been stopped, and before proceeding with the remaining cleanup in atmci_remove.
CVE-2026-80560 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: openrisc: signal: do not restore privileged SR bits on sigreturn restore_sigcontext() copies the whole supervision register (SR) from the signal frame and only clears SPR_SR_SM before the value is reloaded into the hardware SR (through ESR and l.rfe) on the return to user space. All other SR bits are left under user control. An unprivileged task can thus return from a signal handler through a crafted sigframe that clears SPR_SR_DME. With the data MMU disabled the CPU performs no translation or protection on data accesses, so the task gains read and write access to arbitrary physical memory, a local privilege escalation. SPR_SR_IME, SPR_SR_SUMRA, SPR_SR_LEE, SPR_SR_EPH and the cache-enable bits are exposed the same way. The ptrace GPR regset already refuses any change to SR for exactly this reason. Restore only the arithmetic flag bits (F, CY, OV) from the signal frame and take every privileged control bit from the SR the kernel saved on signal entry. Verified with qemu-system-or1k -M or1k-sim: before this change an unprivileged PoC clears SPR_SR_DME in rt_sigreturn and writes a marker to physical address 0x03000000 (beyond the kernel's mem=32M); afterwards the same PoC receives SIGSEGV and physical memory is unchanged.
CVE-2026-74745 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eth: bnxt: avoid deadlock when canceling IRQ affinity notifier Unregistering IRQ affinity notifiers waits for the callback synchronously. bnxt takes the netdev instance lock in the notifier (to restart the queue) and cancels the work under the same lock. This may obviously deadlock. Move the restart to the async service task. The queue restart isn't super time sensitive. Store the new TPH tag, schedule the task. Safely canceling the service task is already ironed out. In bnxt_request_irq() the order of registering notifier, affinity and initial TPH programming has to be inverted. I think it was racy previously since user may trigger an update as soon as notifier is installed. There's a small known gap - if pcie_tph_get_cpu_st() fails at init and the target tag is 0 we may miss programming the entry. This does not seem worth fixing, the code has skip-on-failure all over the place, anyway.
CVE-2026-74750 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: defer key slot crypto freeing to workqueue Key slots are released through a kref and the existing release path frees the AEAD transforms from an RCU callback. That is not safe for all crypto implementations: crypto_free_aead can sleep, for example when an async or hardware implementation has teardown work to complete. Use queue_rcu_work for key-slot release. This keeps the RCU grace period needed by lockless key-slot readers, but runs the actual crypto teardown from workqueue context where sleeping is allowed. Once the rcu_work callback runs, pre-existing RCU readers are gone, and the final kref put already proves that no transform user remains, so the worker can release the AEAD transforms and free the slot directly. The previous patch drains ovpn_wq during module exit, so queued key-slot teardown work cannot outlive module text.
CVE-2026-81730 1 Dolibarr 3 Dolibarr, Dolibarr Erp\/crm, Erp Crm 2026-08-28 8.2 High
Dolibarr 9.0.0 through 23.0.4 saves inbound email attachments under the name supplied in the message's MIME headers without reducing it to a safe basename. The global saveAttachment() in htdocs/emailcollector/lib/emailcollector.lib.php builds $filepath = $path . $filename . '.' . $ext and hands it to file_put_contents(), and the private saveAttachment() in htdocs/emailcollector/class/emailcollector.class.php writes to $destdir.'/'.$filename; the name reaches both from the attachment's own getName() or getFilename() value by way of the record-join, create-ticket and create-project operations. A traversal sequence in the filename therefore survives intact, so any sender who can email a mailbox that an EmailCollector monitors, which is the module's ordinary use for a support or ticket inbox, can place attacker-controlled content outside the per-object attachment directory without holding a Dolibarr account. Under the hardened layout Dolibarr's SECURITY.md requires, with htdocs read-only, the write is confined to the documents tree and corrupts or forges other objects' documents; where htdocs is writable the same primitive reaches a web-executable path. Version 24.0.0 applies dol_sanitizePathName() and dol_sanitizeFileName() before the write.
