| Integer overflow vulnerability in the yuv2ya16_X_c_template function in libswscale/output.c in FFmpeg 8.0. | ||||
| CVE-2024-36957 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-12-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-af: avoid off-by-one read from userspace We try to access count + 1 byte from userspace with memdup_user(buffer, count + 1). However, the userspace only provides buffer of count bytes and only these count bytes are verified to be okay to access. To ensure the copied buffer is NUL terminated, we use memdup_user_nul instead. | ||||
| CVE-2025-66499 | 5 Apple, Foxit, Foxit Software and 2 more | 7 Macos, Pdf Editor, Pdf Reader and 4 more | 2025-12-23 | 7.8 High |
| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the PDF parsing of Foxit PDF Reader when processing specially crafted JBIG2 data. An integer overflow in the calculation of the image buffer size may occur, potentially allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. | ||||
| CVE-2025-66217 | 2 Ais-catcher Project, Aiscatcher | 2 Ais-catcher, Ais-catcher | 2025-12-23 | 7.5 High |
| AIS-catcher is a multi-platform AIS receiver. Prior to version 0.64, an integer underflow vulnerability exists in the MQTT parsing logic of AIS-catcher. This vulnerability allows an attacker to trigger a massive Heap Buffer Overflow by sending a malformed MQTT packet with a manipulated Topic Length field. This leads to an immediate Denial of Service (DoS) and, when used as a library, severe Memory Corruption that can be leveraged for Remote Code Execution (RCE). This issue has been patched in version 0.64. | ||||

| CVE-2022-49727 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: Fix signed integer overflow in l2tp_ip6_sendmsg When len >= INT_MAX - transhdrlen, ulen = len + transhdrlen will be overflow. To fix, we can follow what udpv6 does and subtract the transhdrlen from the max. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49077 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmmremap.c: avoid pointless invalidate_range_start/end on mremap(old_size=0) If an mremap() syscall with old_size=0 ends up in move_page_tables(), it will call invalidate_range_start()/invalidate_range_end() unnecessarily, i.e. with an empty range. This causes a WARN in KVM's mmu_notifier. In the past, empty ranges have been diagnosed to be off-by-one bugs, hence the WARNing. Given the low (so far) number of unique reports, the benefits of detecting more buggy callers seem to outweigh the cost of having to fix cases such as this one, where userspace is doing something silly. In this particular case, an early return from move_page_tables() is enough to fix the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2022-48947 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-12-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix u8 overflow By keep sending L2CAP_CONF_REQ packets, chan->num_conf_rsp increases multiple times and eventually it will wrap around the maximum number (i.e., 255). | CVE-2022-48938 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: CDC-NCM: avoid overflow in sanity checking A broken device may give an extreme offset like 0xFFF0 and a reasonable length for a fragment. In the sanity check as formulated now, this will create an integer overflow, defeating the sanity check. Both offset and offset + len need to be checked in such a manner that no overflow can occur. And those quantities should be unsigned. | ||||
| CVE-2022-48804 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-12-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vt_ioctl: fix array_index_nospec in vt_setactivate array_index_nospec ensures that an out-of-bounds value is set to zero on the transient path. Decreasing the value by one afterwards causes a transient integer underflow. vsa.console should be decreased first and then sanitized with array_index_nospec. | CVE-2025-64721 | 2 Microsoft, Sandboxie-plus | 2 Windows, Sandboxie | 2025-12-22 | 10.0 Critical |
| Sandboxie is a sandbox-based isolation software for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows NT-based operating systems. In versions 1.16.6 and below, the SYSTEM-level service SbieSvc.exe exposes SbieIniServer::RC4Crypt to sandboxed processes. The handler adds a fixed header size to a caller-controlled value_len without overflow checking. A large value_len (e.g., 0xFFFFFFF0) wraps the allocation size, causing a heap overflow when attacker data is copied into the undersized buffer. This allows sandboxed processes to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM, fully compromising the host. This issue is fixed in version 1.16.7. | ||||
| CVE-2023-29144 | 2 Linux, Malwarebytes | 2 Linux, Malwarebytes | 2025-12-19 | 3.3 Low |
| Malwarebytes 1.0.14 for Linux doesn't properly compute signatures in some scenarios. This allows a bypass of detection. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3863 | 5 Debian, Libssh2, Netapp and 2 more | 15 Debian Linux, Libssh2, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 12 more | 2025-12-19 | N/A |
| A flaw was found in libssh2 before 1.8.1 creating a vulnerability on the SSH client side. A server could send a multiple keyboard interactive response messages whose total length are greater than unsigned char max characters. This value is used by the SSH client as an index to copy memory causing in an out of bounds memory write error. | ||||
| CVE-2022-28615 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more | 2025-12-18 | 9.1 Critical |
| Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier may crash or disclose information due to a read beyond bounds in ap_strcmp_match() when provided with an extremely large input buffer. While no code distributed with the server can be coerced into such a call, third-party modules or lua scripts that use ap_strcmp_match() may hypothetically be affected. | ||||
| CVE-2023-4576 | 2 Microsoft, Mozilla | 4 Windows, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 1 more | 2025-12-18 | 8.6 High |
| On Windows, an integer overflow could occur in `RecordedSourceSurfaceCreation` which resulted in a heap buffer overflow potentially leaking sensitive data that could have led to a sandbox escape. *This bug only affects Firefox on Windows. Other operating systems are unaffected.* This vulnerability affects Firefox < 117, Firefox ESR < 102.15, Firefox ESR < 115.2, Thunderbird < 102.15, and Thunderbird < 115.2. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47511 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-12-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: pcm: oss: Fix negative period/buffer sizes The period size calculation in OSS layer may receive a negative value as an error, but the code there assumes only the positive values and handle them with size_t. Due to that, a too big value may be passed to the lower layers. This patch changes the code to handle with ssize_t and adds the proper error checks appropriately. | ||||
| CVE-2018-1124 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 3 more | 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Leap and 10 more | 2025-12-18 | 7.8 High |
| procps-ng before version 3.3.15 is vulnerable to multiple integer overflows leading to a heap corruption in file2strvec function. This allows a privilege escalation for a local attacker who can create entries in procfs by starting processes, which could result in crashes or arbitrary code execution in proc utilities run by other users. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47432 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-12-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/generic-radix-tree.c: Don't overflow in peek() When we started spreading new inode numbers throughout most of the 64 bit inode space, that triggered some corner case bugs, in particular some integer overflows related to the radix tree code. Oops. | ||||
