| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/zcrypt: Improve EP11 CPRB domain handling with ASN.1 parsing
The zcrypt_msgtype6_send_ep11_cprb() function uses fragile struct
overlays to access and modify the domain field in the EP11 CPRB
payload, creating maintainability and security concerns:
1. Struct overlay approach (pld_hdr) assumes fixed payload structure
and doesn't validate the actual ASN.1 encoding.
2. Complex length format detection logic is error-prone and doesn't
properly validate bounds at each parsing step.
3. Direct struct member access bypasses proper ASN.1 validation.
Fix by replacing struct overlays with explicit ASN.1 parsing that
validates each field (payload tag/length, function tag/length/value,
optional domain tag/length/value) with proper bounds checking at every
step. Add asn1_int_encode() helper function to safely write integer
values with correct endianness conversion. This makes the code
consistent with the validation pattern introduced with the rework of
the xcrb_msg_to_type6_ep11cprb_msgx() function. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/vfio_ccw: Selectively expand io_mutex
The io_mutex was defined to serialize the io_regions, but then has
also sort of been associated with the I/O themselves because of
the close relationship they share.
With the handful of races that are possible, the choices are either to:
A) expand the scope of io_mutex to close these remaining windows, or
B) reduce the scope of io_mutex to just io_region, and introduce a new
lock mechanism for the remaining I/O resources
This patch implements A, since B brings with it a lot more interactions
that would need to be tracked and kept in a correct hierarchy. It also
takes advantage of the workqueue element for cp_free() that now gets
called out of fsm_notoper(), which could be invoked out of an interrupt
context and thus cannot acquire a mutex itself. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/vfio_ccw: Move cp cleanup out of not operational
The fsm_notoper() routine is called when the device has been
lost, and is (by definition) no longer operational. Since this
can happen asynchronously from the normal behavior of the
driver, the cleanup may happen when holding other locks
in the calling sequence (notably, the cio subchannel lock).
Push the cleanup of the private->cp resources to a workqueue,
where it can be done out from under that lock sequence and
a future patch can safely manage the locking requirements. |
| openNDS before 11.0.0 is susceptible to unauthenticated OS command execution via shell command injection through the fas query parameter on the /opennds_preauth/ endpoint because of libopennds.sh. |
| Impact:
undici's ProxyAgent silently drops the requestTls option when configured with a SOCKS5 proxy URI (socks5:// or socks://). The target HTTPS connection through the SOCKS5 tunnel falls back to Node's default trust store, ignoring user-configured ca, cert, key, rejectUnauthorized, and servername settings.
Applications that pin to an internal or corporate CA via requestTls.ca will, when their proxy URI is SOCKS5, get the default Mozilla CA bundle as the trust anchor instead. Any cert signed by any publicly-trusted CA for the target hostname is accepted, breaking the intended pin and enabling MITM read and tamper of the HTTPS exchange.
Affected applications are those that use undici's ProxyAgent (or Socks5ProxyAgent directly) with SOCKS5 AND rely on requestTls for TLS scope restriction. The bug was introduced in undici 7.23.0 when SOCKS5 support was added.
Patches:
Upgrade to undici v7.28.0 or v8.5.0.
Workarounds:
No workaround is available within the SOCKS5 path. If a SOCKS5 proxy with TLS scope restriction is required and an upgrade is not yet possible, route the traffic through an HTTP-proxy ProxyAgent instead, where requestTls is honored correctly. |
| gitoxide's gix-url crate (<= 0.32.0, fixed in 0.37.1) uses a hand-rolled URL parser that does not treat '?' or '#' as terminating the authority component, contrary to RFC 3986. As a consequence, gix-transport's HTTP redirect identity guard (can_reuse_identity) compares the wrong host and fails open. An attacker controlling a redirect response can craft a Location header of the form <attacker-authority>?@<original-authority> so that gitoxide sends the caller's HTTP Basic Authorization credentials to an unintended host. gix-transport is affected in versions <= 0.49.0 (fixed in 0.58.1). |
| Dolibarr before 24.0.0 contains a SQL injection in its CSV and XLSX import wizard. The wizard reads its update keys with GETPOST('updatekeys', 'array') in htdocs/imports/import.php, which applies only the generic alphanohtml filter: that strips HTML but leaves SQL keywords, comment markers, parentheses, spaces and quotes intact. import_insert() in htdocs/core/modules/import/import_csv.modules.php then iterates the submitted values and builds a filter with $where[] = $key.' = '.$data[$key], having first applied preg_replace('/^.*\./i', '', $key), an alias strip that does nothing to a value containing no dot. The assembled string is executed through $this->db->query(). The injected SELECT resolves the row id that the import then assigns to $lastinsertid, which becomes the WHERE target of a subsequent UPDATE, so a UNION SELECT returning an attacker-chosen integer both exfiltrates arbitrary table content and redirects which row the import overwrites; for category link tables the raw filter array is spliced into that UPDATE directly. The interface offers a fixed list of legitimate column codes but the server never checks the submitted values against it. A user holding the import permission can exploit this. Release 23.0.4 does not carry the fix; the allow-list test was added in 24.0.0. |
| Xiiaozet LK100W is vulnerable to OS command injection through its
web-based management interface. An authenticated attacker may be able to
execute arbitrary operating system commands with elevated privileges,
potentially resulting in unauthorized access to sensitive information or
complete device compromise. |
| The Optimole – Optimize Images | Convert WebP & AVIF | CDN & Lazy Load | Image Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'a' (above_fold_images) parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The affected Ebyte device relies on client-managed authentication tokens
without sufficient server-side validation. An attacker may replay or
manipulate authentication tokens to gain unauthorized access to
administrative functionality. |
| The official Flair wheels for 0.15.0 and 0.15.1 still contain flair/models/clustering.py, whose ClusteringModel.load static method returns pickle.loads(joblib.load(str(model_file))) and so executes arbitrary Python while loading a model file. Loading a model supplied by an attacker therefore runs that attacker's code with the privileges of the loading process. This is the same sink and the same file as CVE-2024-10073, which records 0.15.0 as the fixed version on the basis that clustering support was dropped in that release; the module was removed from the documented API but remains present in the distributed artifact and reachable by importing flair.models.clustering directly, so the earlier record's fixed version does not hold for the shipped package. |
| Certain configuration endpoints may lack proper server-side
authorization checks, allowing unauthorized users to access or modify
sensitive device settings. This could result in full compromise of
device functionality. |
| SiYuan versions before 3.7.4 contain a cross-site WebSocket hijacking vulnerability in the admin-only /ws/network/proxy endpoint that explicitly disables origin validation by setting CheckOrigin to unconditionally return true. Attackers can craft malicious webpages that establish WebSocket connections to this endpoint and direct the SiYuan kernel process to proxy arbitrary network traffic to attacker-chosen targets, enabling authenticated network pivoting through the victim's machine. |
| The Flex Objects plugin (through 1.4.6, tested with Grav 2.0.11) contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in its Flex Objects API. FlexApiController::update() checks only the general Flex directory permission and does not apply the additional target/field/super-admin checks enforced by the dedicated Users and Groups API controllers. An authenticated account with api.access, admin.login, and users.update permissions (but without api.users.write or admin.super) can use the generic /api/v1/flex-objects/user-accounts endpoint to change a super administrator's password, or the /api/v1/flex-objects/user-groups endpoint to grant its group admin.super, resulting in full site takeover. Fixed in Flex Objects 1.4.7. |
| Impact:
When using Socks5ProxyAgent, undici reuses a single connection pool across different origins without verifying that the pool's origin matches the requested origin. All requests are dispatched through the pool connected to the first origin, regardless of the intended destination.
This causes cross-origin request routing: credentials and request data intended for origin B are sent to origin A, responses from the wrong origin are trusted, and HTTPS requests may be silently downgraded to HTTP.
Impacted users are applications that use Socks5ProxyAgent (directly or via setGlobalDispatcher) and make requests to more than one origin.
This was introduced in undici 7.23.0 via PR #4385 and affects all versions through 8.1.0.
Patches:
Upgrade to undici v7.26.0 or v8.2.0.
Workarounds:
Use a separate Socks5ProxyAgent instance per origin, or avoid using Socks5ProxyAgent with multiple origins. |
| Bendix EC80 Brake ECU
is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, which may allow an
attacker to crash the ECU. A crafted payload can then be used to
remotely execute arbitrary code or inject arbitrary CAN bus traffic.
This could cause the loss of the ABS function, steering assist,
speedometer, and shifting. |
