CVSS v3.1 |
A path traversal vulnerability in WatchGuard Agent allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent network to execute arbitrary code on an affected system.
Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to version 9.2.0495, a Vimscript code injection vulnerability exists in s:NetrwBookHistSave() in the netrw plugin (runtime/pack/dist/opt/netrw/autoload/netrw.vim) when serializing browsed directory paths to the history file ~/.vim/.netrwhist. A directory name derived from the filesystem is interpolated into a single-quoted Vimscript string literal without escaping embedded single quotes, allowing a crafted directory name to break out of the string context and execute arbitrary Vimscript, including shell commands via system() and :!, the next time the history file is sourced. This issue has been patched in version 9.2.0495.
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). Prior to 0.22.0, an assert-based security check in vLLM's activation function loading allows any unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution on the server by publishing a malicious HuggingFace model, when vLLM runs in Python optimized mode (python -O or PYTHONOPTIMIZE=1). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.22.0.
Versions of the package jsonpath before 1.3.0 are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via unsafe evaluation of user-supplied JSON Path expressions. The library relies on the static-eval module to process JSON Path input, which is not designed to handle untrusted data safely. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a malicious JSON Path expression that, when evaluated, executes arbitrary JavaScript code, leading to Remote Code Execution in Node.js environments or Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in browser contexts. This affects all methods that evaluate JSON Paths against objects, including .query, .nodes, .paths, .value, .parent, and .apply.
Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, a ${...} expression or backtick in an array item default is emitted into a module-level template literal emitted by zod schema generation without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when the generated zod schema module is imported, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/zod/src/index.ts function formatDefaultValue. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0.
Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, a double quote in a header parameter name is emitted into the generated request-validation zod.object({...}) schema without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when the generated zod schema module is imported, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/zod/src/index.ts and header request-validation generation. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0.
Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content. Prior to 1.0.0-rc.16, the Grav API plugin CorsMiddleware returns Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * and permissive OPTIONS responses for authenticated /api/v1 endpoints. JavaScript from any origin can submit an attacker-obtained JWT through the Authorization or X-API-Token header, read the authenticated response, and perform write operations with the token owner's privileges, enabling data exfiltration and account modification. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-rc.16.
An issue was discovered in Lantronix EDS5000 2.1.0.0R3. The HTTP RPC module executes a shell command to write logs when user's authantication fails. The username is directly concatenated with the command without any sanitization. This allow attackers to inject arbitrary OS commands into the username parameter. Injected commands are executed with root privileges.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Hyperion Financial Management product of Oracle Hyperion (component: Security). The supported version that is affected is 11.2.25.0.000. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Hyperion Financial Management. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
A security flaw has been discovered in alibaba-fusion next up to 1.27.34. This issue affects the function ConfigProvider.getContextProps of the file components/dialog/index.tsx of the component deepMerge. Performing a manipulation of the argument locale results in improperly controlled modification of object prototype attributes. The attack may be initiated remotely. The reported GitHub issue was closed automatically due to inactivity.
A flaw was found in submariner. In cert-auth mode, the connection configuration is built using free-form strings from the Custom Resource Definition (CRD) without proper validation. A malicious cluster can exploit this by publishing a CableName that includes newlines and ipsec.conf directives. This allows an attacker to inject arbitrary configuration parameters or execute commands through leftupdown hooks, leading to remote code execution as root on the gateway node.
Combodo iTop is a web-based IT service management tool. Prior to 3.2.3, unauthenticated users could delete the .readonly file on iTop instances, leading to code execution. This file, created during the setup process, prevents users from performing write actions. This issue has been fixed in version 3.2.3.
JSONata is a JSON query and transformation language. Prior to 1.8.8 and 2.2.0, the src/functions.js lookup function lacked an Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty check and allowed crafted expressions to access inherited prototype members. An attacker able to supply an expression could use inherited prototype setters and getters, constructor access, valueOf, and process.getBuiltinModule to reach the child_process module and execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the host process. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.8 and 2.2.0.
AzuraCast exposes the Liquidsoap custom configuration fields through an endpoint that does not require the permission guarding them. The backend_config property in backend/src/Entity/Station.php is annotated with GROUP_GENERAL, and PUT /api/station/{station_id}/profile/edit in backend/src/Controller/Api/Stations/ProfileEditController.php deserializes with that group while requiring only StationPermissions::Profile. AbstractArrayEntity::fromArray() then assigns every public property with no field-level permission check, so custom_config_top, custom_config, custom_config_pre_playlists, custom_config_pre_live, custom_config_pre_fade and custom_config_bottom are writable through it. ConfigWriter::writeCustomConfigurationSection() emits those values verbatim into the generated Liquidsoap .liq script, where the process.run() and process.exec() built-ins execute operating system commands when the backend restarts, which the built-in sync task triggers automatically once needs_restart is set. The dedicated endpoint for the same data, PUT /api/station/{id}/liquidsoap-config, requires StationPermissions::Broadcasting, so a station manager holding only the profile permission reaches configuration that the intended boundary reserves for broadcasting operators.
A vulnerability was found in RPM's rpmbuild tarball processing. When processing a crafted source archive, the getTarSpec() function in tools/rpmbuild.cc passes an attacker-controlled tar archive member name to rpmExpand() as part of a %{basename:...} macro expression. A specially crafted .spec member name can therefore inject RPM macros, including Lua expressions, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running rpmbuild. This can be exploited when a victim or automated build system processes an attacker-controlled source tarball using rpmbuild tarball mode (such as -ts, -ta, or -tb).
A vulnerability has been found in SourceCodester Stock Management System 1.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /php_action/printOrder.php. Such manipulation of the argument clientName/clientContact leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A security vulnerability has been detected in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /BSIT2.php. The manipulation of the argument course leads to cross site scripting. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used.
A vulnerability has been found in Piwigo 16.3.0. This impacts an unknown function of the component Public Authentication Page. Such manipulation of the argument lang leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be performed from remote. A high complexity level is associated with this attack. The exploitability is said to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 16.4.0 will fix this issue. The name of the patch is 5277a7dee4b8f1a174f1d69e1e2a4e1c82a3fc9e. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
Insufficient input validation of the `plugin` parameter of the `create_user` plugin allows arbitrary Perl code execution on behalf of the already authenticated account's system user.
Post-authentication improper control of generation of code ('Code Injection') vulnerability has been identified in the SMA1000 Appliance Management Console (AMC) which in specific conditions could potentially enable a remote authenticated attacker as administrator to execute arbitrary OS commands.
