CVE-2026-77680 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-08-26 5.3 Medium
An algorithmic complexity flaw exists in libsoup's HTTP Range header processing that persists after the CVE-2025-32907 fix. CVE-2025-32907 addressed memory amplification when a client repeated the same range many times in a single Range header. Commit 9bb92f7a corrected merge correctness in soup_message_headers_get_ranges_internal() in libsoup/soup-message-headers.c, but the coalescing loop still removes merged ranges using g_array_remove_index() for each coalesced element. Because GArray is contiguous, each mid-array removal performs an O(N) memmove. When many identical satisfiable ranges are supplied (for example bytes=0-0 repeated thousands of times), the loop performs O(N²) work coalescing them into a single range. The vulnerable path is reachable server-side from handle_partial_get() in libsoup/server/http1/soup-server-message-io-http1.c when a SoupServer handler returns HTTP 200 with a non-empty body. No authentication is required. The number of ranges is bounded only by the maximum request header size (~100 KiB), allowing roughly 25,000 ranges per request. Reporter measurements on libsoup HEAD containing the CVE-2025-32907 fix show ~90 ms single-core CPU per such request at the wire maximum, blocking the server's event loop for that duration. This is a CPU exhaustion / availability issue only. No memory corruption or information disclosure occurs. Affected: libsoup versions containing the CVE-2025-32907 fix but not merge request !550. Fixed upstream: MR !550 merged 2026-08-20, replacing per-element removal with O(N) in-place compaction and rejecting Range headers requesting more than 200 ranges. CVE-2021-47644 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: staging: media: zoran: move videodev alloc Move some code out of zr36057_init() and create new functions for handling zr->video_dev. This permit to ease code reading and fix a zr->video_dev memory leak.
CVE-2026-75371 1 Spacedot 1 Acubesat 2026-08-26 7.5 High
An integer handling flaw in the cobs_decode function of SpaceDot AcubeSAT OBC software commit eaf90ec allows physically-proximate attackers with UART access to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input.
CVE-2026-15310 1 Python 1 Cpython 2026-08-26 N/A
When decompressing crafted zip files using the bzip/LZMA/Zstandard compressions, Python could use an attacker-controlled size to pre-allocate memory, possibly resulting in memory exhaustion.
CVE-2026-77354 1 Getkin 1 Kin-openapi 2026-08-25 N/A
kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. From 0.124.0 until 0.142.0, openapi3filter.sliceMapToSlice in openapi3filter/req_resp_decoder.go converts attacker-controlled sparse indexes from a deepObject query parameter into a dense slice by allocating entries from zero through the largest supplied index, after which buildResObj creates another slice of the same length. This allocation occurs before schema validation, so maxItems does not prevent it. An unauthenticated client can send a small query such as param[items][50000000]=x to an endpoint whose deepObject schema contains an array, forcing multi-gigabyte heap allocation and causing an OOM kill or restart loop. Other request-body encodings and styled parameters that do not produce bracketed integer indexes are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.142.0.
CVE-2026-12999 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-08-25 5.3 Medium
The Infineon Airoc Wi-Fi driver's transmit callback airoc_mgmt_send() in drivers/wifi/infineon/airoc_wifi.c allocates a net_buf from the fixed airoc_pool for every outbound packet. When whd_network_send_ethernet_data() returns a synchronous failure, the underlying WHD library does not take ownership of the buffer, but the pre-fix driver returned -EIO without releasing it. Each failed transmit therefore permanently leaks one buffer from the pool. airoc_pool is small and fixed (AIROC_WIFI_TX_PACKET_POOL_COUNT + AIROC_WIFI_RX_PACKET_POOL_COUNT, default 20 buffers) and is shared by WHD's whd_host_buffer_get callback for both transmit and receive. Once enough send failures have leaked the pool dry, airoc_wifi_host_buffer_get() returns WHD_BUFFER_ALLOC_FAIL for all subsequent allocations, so both transmit and the WHD-driven receive path fail and Wi-Fi connectivity is lost until the device is rebooted. The leak occurs only on the transmit error path. A Wi-Fi-adjacent attacker can influence the conditions that cause synchronous send failures (for example by deauthenticating/disassociating the station while the local stack continues to attempt transmits), and ordinary transient failures over the device's lifetime accumulate toward the same state. Reliable on-demand triggering is of high complexity and the impact is availability-only, but the resulting denial of service is permanent and non-recoverable without a reboot. The fix releases the buffer with airoc_wifi_buffer_release() on the failure branch, returning it to the pool. The commit also removes a redundant k_sem_give() in airoc_mgmt_disconnect(); because data->sema_common is a binary semaphore (limit 1) the duplicate give merely saturated at 1 and had no security impact.
CVE-2026-19446 1 Ibm 3 Aix, Powervm Vios, Vios 2026-08-25 7.5 High
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted UDP packet to a reachable RPC service, resulting in complete system unavailability and requiring an LPAR restart.
CVE-2026-77384 2026-08-25 7.5 High
libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to version 4.2.9, the reservation refresh path in reservation-store.ts reuses the same retimeableSignal but unconditionally registers another abort listener on every refresh. As a result, a remote peer can repeatedly send valid RESERVE requests for the same reservation, causing unbounded listener and closure growth in @libp2p/circuit-relay-v2 relay servers and leading to denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.9.
CVE-2026-79771 2 Nokogiri, Sparklemotion 2 Nokogiri, Nokogiri 2026-08-25 5.3 Medium
Nokogiri versions before 1.19.3 contain a memory leak in the XSLT Stylesheet transform method when processing Ruby strings containing null bytes. Attackers can exploit this by passing attacker-controlled input with null bytes to transform parameters, causing heap allocations to leak and enabling denial of service against long-running processes.
CVE-2026-55531 1 Mervinpraison 1 Praisonai 2026-08-25 6.5 Medium
PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to praisonai 4.6.58, the MCP HTTP Stream mcp_post handler creates a new _sessions entry for every initialize request but does not call _cleanup_sessions or enforce a maximum. An unauthenticated caller can exhaust memory. The fix invokes cleanup and limits sessions through PRAISONAI_MCP_MAX_SESSIONS. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.58.
CVE-2026-53531 1 Erweixin 1 Ratex 2026-08-25 N/A
RaTeX is a KaTeX-compatible math rendering engine written in Rust. Prior to version 0.1.11, RaTeX’s recursive-descent parser recurses one (or more) native stack frame per nesting level at `{`, `\left`, `\sqrt{`, `^{`, etc, with no maximum depth limit. A short, ~10 KB input of nested groups overflows the 8 MB main-thread stack and aborts the process. With `panic = "abort"` (`Cargo.toml:48`), and because a Rust stack overflow is always a fatal `SIGABRT` regardless of panic strategy this is an unrecoverable, whole-process denial of service reachable from a single untrusted LaTeX string. Version 0.1.11 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-48050 1 Basekick-labs 1 Arc 2026-08-25 N/A
Arc is an open, SQL-native time-series database for telemetry. Versions prior to 26.06.1 register Go's `net/http/pprof` handlers at `/debug/pprof/*` via `app.Use(pprof.New())` in `internal/api/server.go`, and `/debug/pprof` is added to `PublicPrefixes` in `cmd/arc/main.go`. The auth middleware short-circuits before the token check on prefix match, so the endpoints are reachable without any authentication. Version 26.06.1 contains a patch. Some workarounds are available. Block `/debug/pprof*` at a reverse proxy / load balancer in front of Arc, restrict Arc's API port to known-trusted networks via firewall rules, and/or patch the running build: comment out `app.Use(pprof.New())` in `internal/api/server.go` and rebuild.
CVE-2026-54874 1 Openssl 1 Openssl 2026-08-25 7.5 High
Issue summary: Receiving a DTLS record for a future epoch while a handshake is in progress causes OpenSSL to buffer far more memory than the record itself requires. Impact summary: A peer can use a small amount of network traffic to make an OpenSSL DTLS endpoint retain a disproportionately large amount of memory, which may lead to a Denial of Service. CWE: CWE-405: Asymmetric Resource Consumption (Amplification) Description: While a DTLS handshake is in progress, a peer may legitimately have already moved on to the next epoch (for example, having sent its ChangeCipherSpec and Finished messages) before the local endpoint has processed the same transition, typically because of reordering on the underlying UDP transport. OpenSSL buffers such early records so that they can be processed once the local endpoint catches up. Buffering a record currently retains the entire read buffer it arrived in, which is sized to hold the largest possible DTLS record (around 16 kilobytes), rather than just the bytes that make up the record itself. Up to 100 such records may be buffered per connection. As a result, a peer that sends a stream of small forged records claiming to belong to the next epoch can cause an OpenSSL DTLS endpoint to retain around 1.7 megabytes of memory, despite sending only a small fraction of that amount of data over the network. An attacker therefore gains a memory amplification factor of around 1200, and can multiply the effect across as many associations as it is able to open, making this a remote memory exhaustion Denial of Service risk for DTLS servers. Since the memory retained per connection remains bounded, and any limit an application already places on the number of concurrent associations also bounds the total exposure, this issue has been assessed as Low severity. FIPS impact: no No FIPS modules are affected by this issue as the affected code is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary. OpenSSL 4.0, 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.0, 1.1.1 and 1.0.2 are vulnerable to this issue. OpenSSL 4.0 users should upgrade to OpenSSL 4.0.2. OpenSSL 3.6 users should upgrade to OpenSSL 3.6.4. OpenSSL 3.5 users should upgrade to OpenSSL 3.5.8. OpenSSL 3.4 users should upgrade to OpenSSL 3.4.7. OpenSSL 3.0 users should upgrade to OpenSSL 3.0.22. Premium support customers only: OpenSSL 1.1.1 users should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1zi OpenSSL 1.0.2 users should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.0.2zr This issue was reported on 18 May 2026 by Amazon Web Services. CVE-2022-25762 3 Apache, Oracle, Redhat 3 Tomcat, Agile Product Lifecycle Management, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-25 8.6 High
If a web application sends a WebSocket message concurrently with the WebSocket connection closing when running on Apache Tomcat 8.5.0 to 8.5.75 or Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.20, it is possible that the application will continue to use the socket after it has been closed. The error handling triggered in this case could cause the a pooled object to be placed in the pool twice. This could result in subsequent connections using the same object concurrently which could result in data being returned to the wrong use and/or other errors.
CVE-2020-13934 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more 17 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 14 more 2026-08-25 7.5 High
An h2c direct connection to Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M5 to 9.0.36 and 8.5.1 to 8.5.56 did not release the HTTP/1.1 processor after the upgrade to HTTP/2. If a sufficient number of such requests were made, an OutOfMemoryException could occur leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2020-13935 8 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 5 more 23 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 20 more 2026-08-25 7.5 High
The payload length in a WebSocket frame was not correctly validated in Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.36, 8.5.0 to 8.5.56 and 7.0.27 to 7.0.104. Invalid payload lengths could trigger an infinite loop. Multiple requests with invalid payload lengths could lead to a denial of service.
CVE-2026-19653 1 Ibm 2 Aix, Vios 2026-08-25 6.5 Medium
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a local attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper handling of memory page table configurations.
CVE-2026-74982 1 Mozilla 2 Firefox, Thunderbird 2026-08-25 7.5 High
Denial-of-service in the Widget component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, and Thunderbird 153.1.
CVE-2026-55373 2026-08-25 6.2 Medium
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. Versions prior to 3.2.10, 3.3.12, and 3.4.13 contain an infinite-loop vulnerability in SampleCountChannel. The helper roundListSizeUp() rounds a sample-list size up to the next power of two using repeated unsigned left shifts, which terminates for normal values but fails for UINT_MAX: the sequence reaches 0x80000000, and the next left shift wraps the 32-bit value to 0. Because 0 remains less than UINT_MAX, the loop never progresses and never exits. The bug is reachable through public OpenEXRUtil APIs, either by editing the sample-count buffer through SampleCountChannel::Edit (whose destructor calls endEdit()) or by calling SampleCountChannel::set(x, y, UINT_MAX) on a valid pixel. This issue has been fixed in versions 3.2.10, 3.3.12, and 3.4.13.
CVE-2026-18822 1 Ibm 3 Aix, Powervm Vios, Vios 2026-08-25 4.4 Medium
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a local attacker to cause a denial of service due to uncontrolled resource consumption when parsing directory records.
