CVSS v3.1 |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in LG Electronics LG SuperSign CMS allows Port Scanning. This issue affects LG SuperSign CMS: from 4.1.3 before < 4.3.1. |
| A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher Manager in which it
did not enforce request body size limits on certain public
(unauthenticated) and authenticated API endpoints. This allows a
malicious user to exploit this by sending excessively large payloads,
which are fully loaded into memory during processing, leading to Denial of Service (DoS). |
| python-multipart is a streaming multipart parser for Python. When parsing form data, python-multipart skips line breaks (CR \r or LF \n) in front of the first boundary and any tailing bytes after the last boundary. This happens one byte at a time and emits a log event each time, which may cause excessive logging for certain inputs. An attacker could abuse this by sending a malicious request with lots of data before the first or after the last boundary, causing high CPU load and stalling the processing thread for a significant amount of time. In case of ASGI application, this could stall the event loop and prevent other requests from being processed, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.0.18. |
| Password Pusher, an open source application to communicate sensitive information over the web, comes with a configurable rate limiter. In versions prior to v1.49.0, the rate limiter could be bypassed by forging proxy headers allowing bad actors to send unlimited traffic to the site potentially causing a denial of service. In v1.49.0, a fix was implemented to only authorize proxies on local IPs which resolves this issue. As a workaround, one may add rules to one's proxy and/or firewall to not accept external proxy headers such as `X-Forwarded-*` from clients. |
| A denial-of-service vulnerability was reported in some Lenovo printers that could allow an unauthenticated attacker on a shared network to prevent printer services from being reachable until the system is rebooted. |
| A denial-of-service vulnerability was reported in some Lenovo printers that could allow an unauthenticated attacker on a shared network to deny printing capabilities until the system is rebooted. |
| An issue in how XINJE XD5E-24R and XL5E-16T v3.5.3b handles TCP protocol messages allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted TCP message. |
| FPDI is a collection of PHP classes that facilitate reading pages from existing PDF documents and using them as templates in FPDF. In versions 2.6.2 and below, any application that uses FPDI to process user-supplied PDF files is at risk, causing a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability. An attacker can upload a small, malicious PDF file that will cause the server-side script to crash due to memory exhaustion. Repeated attacks can lead to sustained service unavailability. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.3. |
| async-graphql is a GraphQL server library implemented in Rust. async-graphql before 7.0.10 does not limit the number of directives for a field. This can lead to Service Disruption, Resource Exhaustion, and User Experience Degradation. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.10. |
| An issue was discovered in Atos Eviden BullSequana XH2140 BMC before C4EM-125: OMF_C4E 101.05.0014. Some BullSequana XH products were shipped without proper hardware programming, leading to a potential denial-of-service with privileged access. |
| An attacker can craft an input to the Parse functions that would be processed non-linearly with respect to its length, resulting in extremely slow parsing. This could cause a denial of service. |
| Action Pack is a framework for handling and responding to web requests. Starting in version 3.1.0 and prior to versions 6.1.7.9, 7.0.8.5, 7.1.4.1, and 7.2.1.1, there is a possible ReDoS vulnerability in the query parameter filtering routines of Action Dispatch. Carefully crafted query parameters can cause query parameter filtering to take an unexpected amount of time, possibly resulting in a DoS vulnerability. All users running an affected release should either upgrade to version 6.1.7.9, 7.0.8.5, 7.1.4.1, or 7.2.1.1 or apply the relevant patch immediately. One may use Ruby 3.2 as a workaround. Ruby 3.2 has mitigations for this problem, so Rails applications using Ruby 3.2 or newer are unaffected. Rails 8.0.0.beta1 depends on Ruby 3.2 or greater so is unaffected. |
| VirtualTablet Server 3.0.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the service by sending oversized string payloads through the Thrift protocol. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by sending a long string to the send_say() method, causing the server to become unresponsive. |
| UltraVNC Viewer 1.2.4.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by manipulating VNC Server input. Attackers can generate a malformed 256-byte payload and paste it into the VNC Server connection dialog to trigger an application crash. |
| Odin Secure FTP Expert 7.6.3 contains a local denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by manipulating site information fields. Attackers can generate a buffer overflow by pasting 108 bytes of repeated characters into connection fields, causing the application to crash. |
| ProficySCADA for iOS 5.0.25920 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by manipulating the password input field. Attackers can overwrite the password field with 257 bytes of repeated characters to trigger an application crash and prevent successful authentication. |
| Spring WebFlux applications that have Spring Security authorization rules on static resources can be bypassed under certain circumstances.
For this to impact an application, all of the following must be true:
* It must be a WebFlux application
* It must be using Spring's static resources support
* It must have a non-permitAll authorization rule applied to the static resources support |
| nptd-rs is a tool for synchronizing your computer's clock, implementing the NTP and NTS protocols. There is a missing limit for accepted NTS-KE connections. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash ntpd-rs when an NTS-KE server is configured. Non NTS-KE server configurations, such as the default ntpd-rs configuration, are unaffected. This vulnerability has been patched in version 1.1.3.

| A buffer-management vulnerability in OPC Foundation OPCFoundation.NetStandard.Opc.Ua.Core before 1.05.374.54 could allow remote attackers to exhaust memory resources. It is triggered when the system receives an excessive number of messages from a remote source. This could potentially lead to a denial of service (DoS) condition, disrupting the normal operation of the system. |
| Volcano is a Kubernetes-native batch scheduling system. Prior to versions 1.11.2, 1.10.2, 1.9.1, 1.11.0-network-topology-preview.3, and 1.12.0-alpha.2, attacker compromise of either the Elastic service or the extender plugin can cause denial of service of the scheduler. This is a privilege escalation, because Volcano users may run their Elastic service and extender plugins in separate pods or nodes from the scheduler. In the Kubernetes security model, node isolation is a security boundary, and as such an attacker is able to cross that boundary in Volcano's case if they have compromised either the vulnerable services or the pod/node in which they are deployed. The scheduler will become unavailable to other users and workloads in the cluster. The scheduler will either crash with an unrecoverable OOM panic or freeze while consuming excessive amounts of memory. This issue has been patched in versions 1.11.2, 1.10.2, 1.9.1, 1.11.0-network-topology-preview.3, and 1.12.0-alpha.2. |
