CVE-2026-42015 1 Redhat 14 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 11 more 2026-08-25 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in gnutls. An off-by-one error exists in the PKCS#12 bag element bounds check. This vulnerability allows an remote attacker to write past the internal array of a PKCS#12 bag when appending to a bag that already contains 32 elements. This memory corruption could lead to a denial of service (DoS) or potentially other unspecified impacts.
CVE-2026-42014 2 Gnu, Redhat 15 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 12 more 2026-08-25 6.6 Medium
A flaw was found in GnuTLS. The `gnutls_pkcs11_token_set_pin` function, used for changing the Security Officer PIN, can lead to a use-after-free vulnerability. This occurs when an attacker attempts to change the PIN with a NULL old PIN for a token that lacks a protected authentication path.
CVE-2026-42012 2 Gnu, Redhat 15 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 12 more 2026-08-25 7.1 High
A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted certificate that contains Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) or Service (SRV) Subject Alternative Names (SANs). This could cause the certificate validation process to incorrectly fall back to checking DNS hostnames against the Common Name (CN), potentially allowing the attacker to spoof legitimate services or intercept sensitive information.
CVE-2026-15588 1 Redhat 6 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 3 more 2026-08-25 5.3 Medium
A denial-of-service and resource exhaustion vulnerability exists within the `GDBus` component of GLib. The `gdbusauth` authentication mechanism fails to enforce proper length limitations on data lines read from a client. An unauthenticated local or remote attacker can exploit this lack of input validation by sending excessively long streams of data, causing the application to consume massive amounts of system memory and CPU, potentially leading to a crash or system hang.
CVE-2026-14164 3 Libarchive, Red Hat, Redhat 12 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Discovery and 9 more 2026-08-25 7.5 High
A double free issue has been identified in libarchive's RAR5 reader. During parsing of a specially crafted RAR5 archive, the filtered_buf pointer may remain stale after being freed during unpacking state reinitialization. Subsequent processing of another archive entry can trigger a second free of the same memory region, resulting in a double-free condition. Successful exploitation may cause applications using the vulnerable libarchive API to terminate unexpectedly, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2026-13757 2 P11-kit Project, Redhat 9 P11-kit, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2026-08-25 6.2 Medium
A flaw was found in p11-kit. The RPC message attribute parsing functions p11_rpc_message_get_attribute() and p11_rpc_message_get_attribute_array_value() form a mutually-recursive call chain with no recursion depth limit when processing nested CKA_WRAP_TEMPLATE, CKA_UNWRAP_TEMPLATE, and CKA_DERIVE_TEMPLATE attributes. An unauthenticated attacker with local access to the p11-kit RPC Unix domain socket can send a specially crafted request with deeply nested template attributes, causing stack exhaustion and crashing the p11-kit server process and its dependent services.
CVE-2026-2100 2 P11-kit Project, Redhat 8 P11-kit, Cost Management, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-08-25 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in p11-kit. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by calling the C_DeriveKey function on a remote token with specific IBM kyber or IBM btc derive mechanism parameters set to NULL. This could lead to the RPC-client attempting to return an uninitialized value, potentially resulting in a NULL dereference or undefined behavior. This issue may cause an application level denial of service or other unpredictable system states.
CVE-2025-14512 2 Gnome, Redhat 14 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Discovery and 11 more 2026-08-25 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in glib. This vulnerability allows a heap buffer overflow and denial-of-service (DoS) via an integer overflow in GLib's GIO (GLib Input/Output) escape_byte_string() function when processing malicious file or remote filesystem attribute values.
CVE-2025-14087 2 Gnome, Redhat 15 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Discovery and 12 more 2026-08-25 5.6 Medium
A flaw was found in GLib (Gnome Lib). This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause heap corruption, leading to a denial of service or potential code execution via a buffer-underflow in the GVariant parser when processing maliciously crafted input strings.
CVE-2025-10911 1 Redhat 11 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 8 more 2026-08-25 5.5 Medium
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxslt while parsing xsl nodes that may lead to the dereference of expired pointers and application crash.
CVE-2026-58016 2 Gnome, Redhat 14 Glib, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 11 more 2026-08-25 7.5 High
A flaw was found in GLib. A state confusion issue exists in g_dbus_node_info_new_for_xml() in the gio/gdbusintrospection.c file when processing malformed D-Bus introspection XML, specifically with a `node` element nested within other elements like `method`, `signal`, `property` or `arg`. This issue can cause an unsigned integer overflow and lead to an out-of-bounds read, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-4878 2 Libcap Project, Redhat 18 Libcap, Ai Inference Server, Cost Management and 15 more 2026-08-25 6.7 Medium
A flaw was found in libcap. A local unprivileged user can exploit a Time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the `cap_set_file()` function. This allows an attacker with write access to a parent directory to redirect file capability updates to an attacker-controlled file. By doing so, capabilities can be injected into or stripped from unintended executables, leading to privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-19685 1 Redhat 6 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 3 more 2026-08-24 7.1 High
NetworkManager did not apply the private_user restriction to the 802-1x.ca-path and phase2-ca-path directory-valued connection properties. This incomplete fix for CVE-2025-9615 allows an unprivileged local user to point a private WPA-Enterprise (802.1X) connection profile's CA path at an attacker-controlled directory, bypassing server certificate validation and enabling credential theft via a rogue access point.
CVE-2026-78367 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift 2026-08-24 7 High
A vulnerability was found in RPM's rpmbuild tarball processing. When processing a crafted source archive, the getTarSpec() function in tools/rpmbuild.cc passes an attacker-controlled tar archive member name to rpmExpand() as part of a %{basename:...} macro expression. A specially crafted .spec member name can therefore inject RPM macros, including Lua expressions, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running rpmbuild. This can be exploited when a victim or automated build system processes an attacker-controlled source tarball using rpmbuild tarball mode (such as -ts, -ta, or -tb).
CVE-2025-49794 1 Redhat 15 Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 12 more 2026-08-24 9.1 Critical
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxml2. This issue occurs when parsing XPath elements under certain circumstances when the XML schematron has the <sch:name path="..."/> schema elements. This flaw allows a malicious actor to craft a malicious XML document used as input for libxml, resulting in the program's crash using libxml or other possible undefined behaviors.
CVE-2025-49796 1 Redhat 16 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 13 more 2026-08-24 9.1 Critical
A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory.
CVE-2026-12912 2 Libtiff, Redhat 10 Libtiff, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 7 more 2026-08-24 7.3 High
A flaw was found in libtiff. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted PixarLog-compressed TIFF image. This issue occurs when decoding Pixarlog codec images with the PIXARLOGDATAFMT_8BITABGR output format and a specific stride value, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow. This could potentially result in arbitrary code execution or a denial of service (DoS).
