| On a Kong Mesh global control plane, resources received over the zone-to-global KDS sync are attributed using the in-band, sender-controlled ControlPlane.Identifier rather than the authenticated zone identity derived from the connection. Authenticated zones can have the global control plane store and re-distribute those resources as belonging to another zone.
The result is a cross-zone isolation bypass: the holder of a single enrolled zone's credential can inject, attribute, and overwrite resources in another zone's namespace mesh-wide.
The root cause lives in Kuma's open-source KDS sync code, which Kong Mesh's control plane is built on. |

| Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity vulnerability in dropbox samly allows an attacker to establish an authenticated session using a SAML response the service provider never requested.
Samly.SPHandler.validate_authresp/3 in lib/samly/sp_handler.ex validates a SAML response for the SP-initiated flow by comparing only the RelayState value, the IdP identifier, and the presence of a target URL held in the session. It never compares SubjectConfirmationData/@InResponseTo against the ID of the AuthnRequest the service provider issued, and that request ID is never persisted, so no comparison is possible. SAML 2.0 Core section 4.1.4.3 requires a service provider to reject a response whose InResponseTo does not match a request it made. The underlying esaml library checks status, signature, recipient, audience, and staleness, but likewise never inspects InResponseTo, so nothing else closes the gap. Exploitation requires a validly signed assertion from the trusted IdP, which an attacker can obtain for their own account, and a RelayState matching the victim's session; the assertion signature itself remains intact, so this is not a signature-forgery issue.

| A flaw was found in the lighthouse component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of advertised IP addresses within EndpointSlice objects. A compromised spoke cluster can exploit this by creating EndpointSlices with attacker-controlled IP addresses, causing other clusters' lighthouse DNS to redirect legitimate service traffic to malicious endpoints. This enables a remote attacker to conduct transparent Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on cross-cluster service communications, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure and data manipulation. |
| openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 silently skip JSON schema validation when the jsonschema library is not installed, allowing malformed metadata to be accepted. Attackers can remove the jsonschema package or supply unknown metadata format versions to bypass all schema checks and process malicious data. |

| BetterDesk is a remote desktop management solution. BetterDesk versions through 2.3.0 improperly invalidate deleted device identities, allowing an unauthenticated client to replay or spoof a device ID and bypass registration controls. Version 3.0.0-alpha contains a patch. No known workarounds are available. |
| Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.15.0, an on-path attacker can append attributes after MESSAGE-INTEGRITY to an authenticated STUN request on plain UDP or TCP, adjust the STUN header length, and recompute the unkeyed FINGERPRINT while the original HMAC remains valid because it covers only the message prefix. Server-side parsing in src/server/ns_turn_server.c continues past MESSAGE-INTEGRITY through handle_turn_allocate(), handle_turn_create_permission(), handle_turn_refresh(), and handle_turn_command(), allowing trailing LIFETIME, XOR-PEER-ADDRESS, or ORIGIN attributes to override allocation lifetime, inject a permission, or bypass the origin check. TLS and DTLS deployments prevent this in-transit modification. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0. |
| Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, Netty's `DnsResolveContext` insufficiently validates the bailiwick of NS records, enabling DNS Cache Poisoning. An attacker controlling an authoritative name server for a subdomain can poison the cache for parent domains (like `.co.uk`). In `io.netty.resolver.dns.DnsResolveContext.AuthoritativeNameServerList#add` method accepts any NS record from the AUTHORITY section as long as the record's name is a suffix of the questionName. Subsequently, the `handleWithAdditional` method caches the associated A records from the ADDITIONAL section directly into the `authoritativeDnsServerCache` under the parent domain's key. This bypasses standard bailiwick rules, where a server authoritative for a subdomain should not be trusted to provide authoritative records for its parent. The poisoned cache is then used for all future resolutions under the parent domain's key. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue. |

This affects the availability and reliability of authenticated federation flows on nodes using federation peer authentication paths. The issue is fixed in 0.9.0a2, which uses the canonical millisecond-based validation path. |

| ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to 4.5.0, a malicious unauthenticated P2P peer can answer Zebra's outbound getblocks or FindBlocks request with a small two-hash inventory and then serve a syntactically valid block whose coinbase height is far above the local chain tip. In zebrad/src/components/sync/downloads.rs, BlockDownloadVerifyError::AboveLookaheadHeightLimit originally carried only the block height and hash, so handle_block_response could not attribute the failure to the advertising peer. The error then reached the restart-worthy default path in zebrad/src/components/sync.rs, cancelling all in-flight downloads from honest peers and imposing a 67-second sync restart delay on mainnet. Because the peer was neither scored nor disconnected, the peer could repeat the cycle indefinitely with minimal bandwidth and significantly degrade synchronization without corrupting state. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.0. |
| The Twilio integration webhook handler accepts any POST request without validating Twilio's 'X-Twilio-Signature'.
When processing media messages, it fetches user-controlled URLs ('MediaUrlN' parameters) using HTTP requests that include the integration's Twilio credentials in the 'Authorization' header.
An attacker can forge a webhook payload pointing to their own server and receive the victim's 'accountSID' and 'authToken' in plaintext (base64-encoded Basic Auth), leading to full compromise of the Twilio account. |
| Eclipse Kura versions prior to 5.6.2 trust the client-supplied X-Forwarded-For HTTP header as the authoritative source of the client IP address in audit log entries. The org.eclipse.kura.web2 (Web Console) and org.eclipse.kura.rest.provider (REST API) components use this header as the primary IP source when initializing audit context, and org.eclipse.kura.jetty.customizer unconditionally installs Jetty's ForwardedRequestCustomizer on all HTTP/HTTPS connectors, causing HttpServletRequest.getRemoteAddr() to reflect the attacker-controlled header value. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to bypass IP-based brute-force protections — such as fail2ban — by spoofing the logged IP address to a non-routable value, allowing a brute-force attack to proceed undetected, or to cause a denial of service against a third party by injecting a victim's IP address and triggering a ban on that address. |
| CKAN MCP Server is a tool for querying CKAN open data portals. Prior to 0.4.112, canonicalizeParams in src/utils/cache.ts serializes request parameters with unescaped ampersand, equals-sign, and vertical-bar delimiters, allowing different logical parameter sets used by buildCacheKey to collide and an attacker to prime a shared cache with a response for a victim's distinct query. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.112. |
| Trigger.dev is a platform for building and deploying fully managed AI agents and workflows. From 4.4.2 until 4.5.0-rc.4, `POST /api/v1/runs/:runParam/replay` in apps/webapp/app/routes/api.v1.runs.$runParam.replay.ts uses `prisma.taskRun.findUnique({ where: { friendlyId: runParam } })` without a runtimeEnvironmentId filter, then ReplayTaskRunService in apps/webapp/app/v3/services/replayTaskRun.server.ts replays the selected run in the victim environment. Any valid environment API key can therefore replay another tenant's run by friendlyId, consuming victim resources and repeating side effects; when `payloadType: "application/store"` is used, overrideExistingPayloadPacket() calls conditionallyImportPacket() on existingTaskRun.payload without an integrity check, so payload bytes overwritten through a separate object-store path-traversal vulnerability become attacker-controlled input to the victim task. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.0-rc.4. |
