Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Raw Image Extension allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: cls_flower: validate mask pointer after nla_next()
fl_set_enc_opt() iterates the key's nested tunnel-option attributes
with nla_for_each_attr() while advancing a single mask pointer via
nla_next() at the bottom of each loop, so the mask cursor is driven
by the number of key attributes rather than by the mask's own
attributes. The nla_ok() added by commit c96adff956191 ("cls_flower:
call nla_ok() before nla_next()") only validates the mask pointer
that was just consumed; the pointer produced by nla_next() is used by
the next iteration (fl_set_geneve_opt() and siblings) without any
validation.
The mask's nested attributes are validated with NL_VALIDATE_LIBERAL,
which merely warns on trailing bytes that do not form a complete
attribute. A mask carrying one valid attribute plus 1-3 residue
bytes (or a non-aligned attribute length making msk_depth negative)
therefore reaches the next iteration with msk_depth != 0, so neither
the !msk_depth check in fl_set_enc_opt() nor the !depth check in the
per-type helpers fires. nla_type() then reads past the mask payload
and nla_parse_nested_deprecated() iterates with an nla_len taken
from those bytes, reading well beyond the mask attribute (KASAN:
slab-out-of-bounds read in __nla_validate_parse from fl_change()).
Validate the advanced mask pointer as well: when the mask is not
legitimately exhausted (msk_depth != 0) and the new pointer fails
nla_ok(), reject the filter with -EINVAL. An exactly exhausted mask
still skips the check, preserving exact-match behaviour for the
remaining key attributes. |

F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.0, Svc::GenericHub output-port dispatch is vulnerable because the deserialized port field is passed to serialOut_out, bufferOut_out, eventOut_out, or tlmOut_out without an explicit range check. When a remote hub packet supplies a port index outside the configured output-port array, assert-enabled builds abort, while builds without assertions can access an output-port array out of bounds, corrupt heap memory, and potentially allow remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.0.
Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, the built-in TCP/IP stack enabled by MG_ENABLE_TCPIP in src/net_builtin.c does not reject a TCP option whose declared opts[1] length exceeds the remaining option bytes. In handle_opt(), a NOP followed by a truncated MSS option causes opts[3] to be read outside the declared options area and used as the low byte of dmss. An unauthenticated remote peer can corrupt the per-connection MSS value so later mg_send() calls transmit truncated or zero-length application payloads while the TCP connection otherwise appears healthy. This issue is fixed in version 7.23.
odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. Prior to version 25.12, odhcpd's DHCPv6 IA response handler writes past the end of a fixed 512-byte stack buffer (pdbuf) when a single DHCPv6 REQUEST carries enough IA options to nearly exhaust the reply space. Two independent overflow sites exist in the same call chain, both reachable from the network via a single unauthenticated UDP packet. odhcpd runs as root on OpenWrt; embedded targets often lack stack canaries and ASLR, making code execution realistic. This issue has been patched in version 25.12.
lwIP 2.0.0 through 2.2.1 built with the SNMP agent contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in snmp_pbuf_stream_writeto() that bounds copies by pbuf->len instead of remaining bytes. Remote unauthenticated attackers knowing the read community can send fragmented SNMP requests to receive adjacent receive-buffer or pool memory echoed in responses.
webpack-dev-server is a development server that provides live reloading for webpack projects. In versions from 5.1.0 before 5.2.7 and in version 6.0.0, the unauthenticated open-editor endpoint validates the Host header with a regular expression meant for browser Origin schemes, so a Host value beginning with file: or with an extension scheme short-circuits the hostname and allowedHosts checks. A network peer that can reach the dev server can send a request with a malformed Host that passes validation and then causes the endpoint's URL construction to throw, and in the default non-production mode the server returns an HTTP 500 body containing the full exception stack trace, which discloses absolute filesystem paths, installed module locations, and internal source line numbers. The server keeps running, so there is no denial of service. The issue is fixed in webpack-dev-server 5.2.7 and 6.1.0, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later.
OpenStack Ironic before 39.0.1 allows DELETE and GET via vendor_passthru, e.g., to delete accounts from the BMC's Redfish service.
A flaw was found in polkit. When processing input that begins with a null byte, an arithmetic error in the authentication agent helper causes an integer underflow during buffer length calculation, resulting in an out-of-bounds memory read. An attacker capable of supplying crafted input can trigger this flaw, potentially causing an application crash and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
RPly through 1.1.4 contains an improper array index validation vulnerability in ply_read_header_property() that accepts list as a list property's length or value type. Attackers can supply a crafted PLY file that makes ply_read_list_property() call an out-of-bounds handler, crashing ASCII parsing or corrupting memory in binary parsing.
A flaw was found in the iscsiuio component of open-iscsi. The DHCPv6 option parser calls strlen() on raw network data without ensuring a NUL terminator is present, causing it to read past the buffer into heap memory. This can result in a daemon crash, a 1-byte heap overwrite, or corruption of the iSCSI initiator name. An attacker on the same network segment can trigger this by sending a crafted DHCPv6 Advertise message.
An out-of-bounds access issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2. Processing a maliciously crafted media file may lead to unexpected app termination or corrupt process memory.
