CVSS v3.1 |
| The GitHub CLI is GitHub’s official command line tool. A security vulnerability has been identified in GitHub CLI that could create or overwrite files in unintended directories when users download a malicious GitHub Actions workflow artifact through gh run download. This vulnerability stems from a GitHub Actions workflow artifact named .. when downloaded using gh run download. The artifact name and --dir flag are used to determine the artifact’s download path. When the artifact is named .., the resulting files within the artifact are extracted exactly 1 directory higher than the specified --dir flag value. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.63.1. |
| An authenticated Path Traversal vulnerabilities exists in the ArubaOS. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows an attacker to install unsigned packages on the underlying operating system, enabling the threat actor to execute arbitrary code or install implants. |
| The HCL BigFix Inventory server is vulnerable to path traversal which enables an attacker to read internal application files from the Inventory server. The BigFix Inventory server does not properly restrict the served static file.
|
| The Campbell Scientific CSI Web Server supports a command that will return the most recent file that matches a given expression. A specially crafted expression can lead to a path traversal vulnerability. This command combined with a specially crafted expression allows anonymous, unauthenticated access (allowed by default) by an attacker to files and directories outside of the webserver root directory they should be restricted to. |
| The MIPL WC Multisite Sync plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.5 via the 'mipl_wc_sync_download_log' action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. |
| An issue in the downloader.php component of TOSEI online store management system v4.02, v4.03, and v4.04 allows attackers to execute a directory traversal. |
| Directory Traversal vulnerability in Centro de Tecnologia da Informaco Renato Archer InVesalius3 v3.1.99995 allows attackers to write arbitrary files unto the system via a crafted .inv3 file. |
| An attacker who successfully exploited these vulnerabilities could grant read access to files. A vulnerability exists in the AC500 V3 version mentioned. A successfully
authenticated attacker can use this vulnerability to read system wide files and configuration
All AC500 V3 products (PM5xxx) with firmware version earlier than 3.8.0 are affected by this vulnerability. |
| An issue was discovered in Kurmi Provisioning Suite before 7.9.0.35 and 7.10.x through 7.10.0.18. A Directory Traversal and Local File Inclusion vulnerability in the logsSys.do page allows remote attackers (authenticated as administrators) to trigger the display of unintended files. Any file accessible to the Kurmi user account could be displayed, e.g., configuration files with information such as the database password. |
| An issue was discovered in Kurmi Provisioning Suite before 7.9.0.35, 7.10.x through 7.10.0.18, and 7.11.x through 7.11.0.15. A path traversal vulnerability in the DocServlet servlet allows remote attackers to retrieve any file from the Kurmi web application installation folder, e.g., files such as the obfuscated and/or compiled Kurmi source code. |
| A vulnerability has been discovered in Node.js version 20, specifically within the experimental permission model. This flaw relates to improper handling of path traversal bypass when verifying file permissions.
Please note that at the time this CVE was issued, the permission model is an experimental feature of Node.js. |
| The Panda Video plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.0 via the 'selected_button' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Wangshen SecGate 3600 2400. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file ?g=log_export_file. The manipulation of the argument file_name leads to path traversal. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical was found in risesoft-y9 Digital-Infrastructure up to 9.6.7. Affected by this vulnerability is the function deleteFile of the file /Digital-Infrastructure-9.6.7/y9-digitalbase-webapp/y9-module-filemanager/risenet-y9boot-webapp-filemanager/src/main/java/net/risesoft/y9public/controller/Y9FileController.java. The manipulation of the argument fullPath leads to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| The Error Log Viewer By WP Guru plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.1.3 via the wp_ajax_nopriv_elvwp_log_download AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. |
| Kedro is a toolbox for production-ready data science. Prior to 1.3.0, the _get_versioned_path() method in kedro/io/core.py constructs filesystem paths by directly interpolating user-supplied version strings without sanitization. Because version strings are used as path components, traversal sequences such as ../ are preserved and can escape the intended versioned dataset directory.
This is reachable through multiple entry points: catalog.load(..., version=...), DataCatalog.from_config(..., load_versions=...), and the CLI via kedro run --load-versions=dataset:../../../secrets. An attacker who can influence the version string can force Kedro to load files from outside the intended version directory, enabling unauthorized file reads, data poisoning, or cross-tenant data access in shared environments. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.3.0. |
| FileThingie 2.5.7 contains an arbitrary file upload vulnerability that allows attackers to upload malicious files by sending ZIP archives through the ft2.php endpoint. Attackers can upload ZIP files containing PHP shells, use the unzip functionality to extract them into accessible directories, and execute arbitrary commands through the extracted PHP files. |
| Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. Prior to version 3.78.0 in @payloadcms/storage-azure, @payloadcms/storage-gcs, @payloadcms/storage-r2, and @payloadcms/storage-s3, the client-upload signed-URL endpoints for S3, GCS, Azure, and R2 did not properly sanitize filenames. An attacker could craft filenames to escape the intended storage location. This issue has been patched in version 3.78.0 for @payloadcms/storage-azure, @payloadcms/storage-gcs, @payloadcms/storage-r2, and @payloadcms/storage-s3. |
| SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. Prior to version 1.17.0, a path traversal vulnerability in /api/chats/import allows an authenticated attacker to write attacker-controlled files outside the intended chats directory by injecting traversal sequences into character_name. This issue has been patched in version 1.17.0. |
| SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. Prior to version 1.17.0, a path traversal vulnerability in the static file route handler allows any unauthenticated user to determine whether files exist anywhere on the server's filesystem. by sending percent-encoded "../" sequences (%2E%2E%2F) in requests to static file routes, an attacker can check for the existence of files. This issue has been patched in version 1.17.0. |
