CVE-2014-0142 2 Qemu, Redhat 3 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Openstack 2025-04-20 N/A
QEMU, possibly before 2.0.0, allows local users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and crash) via a zero value in the (1) tracks field to the seek_to_sector function in block/parallels.c or (2) extent_size field in the bochs function in block/bochs.c.
CVE-2017-2898 1 Meetcircle 2 Circle With Disney, Circle With Disney Firmware 2025-04-20 7.5 High
An exploitable vulnerability exists in the signature verification of the firmware update functionality of Circle with Disney. Specially crafted network packets can cause an unsigned firmware to be installed in the device resulting in arbitrary code execution. An attacker can send a series of packets to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2017-17381 2 Debian, Qemu 2 Debian Linux, Qemu 2025-04-20 6.5 Medium
The Virtio Vring implementation in QEMU allows local OS guest users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and QEMU process crash) by unsetting vring alignment while updating Virtio rings.
CVE-2017-16857 1 Atlassian 1 Bitbucket Auto Unapprove Plugin 2025-04-20 N/A
It is possible to bypass the bitbucket auto-unapprove plugin via minimal brute-force because it is relying on asynchronous events on the back-end. This allows an attacker to merge any code into unsuspecting repositories. This affects all versions of the auto-unapprove plugin, however since the auto-unapprove plugin is not bundled with Bitbucket Server it does not affect any particular version of Bitbucket.
CVE-2017-11359 2 Debian, Sound Exchange Project 2 Debian Linux, Sound Exchange 2025-04-20 N/A
The wavwritehdr function in wav.c in Sound eXchange (SoX) 14.4.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and application crash) via a crafted snd file, during conversion to a wav file.
CVE-2017-16650 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-20 N/A
The qmi_wwan_bind function in drivers/net/usb/qmi_wwan.c in the Linux kernel through 4.13.11 allows local users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and system crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted USB device.
CVE-2017-14249 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2025-04-20 N/A
ImageMagick 7.0.6-8 Q16 mishandles EOF checks in ReadMPCImage in coders/mpc.c, leading to division by zero in GetPixelCacheTileSize in MagickCore/cache.c, allowing remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted file.
CVE-2017-15951 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-20 7.8 High
The KEYS subsystem in the Linux kernel before 4.13.10 does not correctly synchronize the actions of updating versus finding a key in the "negative" state to avoid a race condition, which allows local users to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted system calls.
CVE-2015-8997 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
In TrustZone a time-of-check time-of-use race condition could potentially exist in a listener routine in all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel.
CVE-2017-15649 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg and 1 more 2025-04-20 N/A
net/packet/af_packet.c in the Linux kernel before 4.13.6 allows local users to gain privileges via crafted system calls that trigger mishandling of packet_fanout data structures, because of a race condition (involving fanout_add and packet_do_bind) that leads to a use-after-free, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-6346.
CVE-2017-15588 1 Xen 1 Xen 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered in Xen through 4.9.x allowing x86 PV guest OS users to execute arbitrary code on the host OS because of a race condition that can cause a stale TLB entry.
CVE-2017-15037 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2025-04-20 N/A
In FreeBSD through 11.1, the smb_strdupin function in sys/netsmb/smb_subr.c has a race condition with a resultant out-of-bounds read, because it can cause t2p->t_name strings to lack a final '\0' character.
CVE-2017-14902 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
In Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android, with all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, due to a race condition in the GLink kernel driver, a Use After Free condition can potentially occur.
CVE-2017-1000405 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-04-20 7.0 High
The Linux Kernel versions 2.6.38 through 4.14 have a problematic use of pmd_mkdirty() in the touch_pmd() function inside the THP implementation. touch_pmd() can be reached by get_user_pages(). In such case, the pmd will become dirty. This scenario breaks the new can_follow_write_pmd()'s logic - pmd can become dirty without going through a COW cycle. This bug is not as severe as the original "Dirty cow" because an ext4 file (or any other regular file) cannot be mapped using THP. Nevertheless, it does allow us to overwrite read-only huge pages. For example, the zero huge page and sealed shmem files can be overwritten (since their mapping can be populated using THP). Note that after the first write page-fault to the zero page, it will be replaced with a new fresh (and zeroed) thp.
CVE-2016-10266 1 Libtiff 1 Libtiff 2025-04-20 N/A
LibTIFF 4.0.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and application crash) via a crafted TIFF image, related to libtiff/tif_read.c:351:22.
CVE-2017-0462 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-20 N/A
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Qualcomm Seemp driver could enable a local malicious application to execute arbitrary code within the context of the kernel. This issue is rated as High because it first requires compromising a privileged process. Product: Android. Versions: Kernel-3.18. Android ID: A-33353601. References: QC-CR#1102288.
CVE-2017-0412 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Framework APIs could enable a local malicious application to execute arbitrary code within the context of a privileged process. This issue is rated as High because it could be used to gain local access to elevated capabilities, which are not normally accessible to a third-party application. Product: Android. Versions: 7.0, 7.1.1. Android ID: A-33039926.
CVE-2017-0411 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Framework APIs could enable a local malicious application to execute arbitrary code within the context of a privileged process. This issue is rated as High because it could be used to gain local access to elevated capabilities, which are not normally accessible to a third-party application. Product: Android. Versions: 7.0, 7.1.1. Android ID: A-33042690.
