CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal') issue exists in SS1 Ver.16.0.0.10 and earlier (Media version:16.0.0a and earlier). If this vulnerability is exploited, arbitrary files may be viewed by a remote unauthenticated attacker. |
| vite-plugin-static-copy is rollup-plugin-copy for Vite with dev server support. Files not included in src are accessible with a crafted request. The vulnerability is fixed in 2.3.2 and 3.1.2. |
| Powered BLUE Server versions 0.20130927 and prior contain a path traversal vulnerability. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary file in the affected product may be disclosed. |
| pyLoad is a free and open-source Download Manager written in pure Python. In version 0.5.0b3.dev89, an authenticated path traversal vulnerability exists in the /json/upload endpoint of pyLoad. By manipulating the filename of an uploaded file, an attacker can traverse out of the intended upload directory, allowing them to write arbitrary files to any location on the system accessible to the pyLoad process. This may lead to: Remote Code Execution (RCE), local privilege escalation, system-wide compromise, persistence, and backdoors. This is fixed in version 0.5.0b3.dev90. |
| qBit Manage is a tool that helps manage tedious tasks in qBittorrent and automate them. A path traversal vulnerability exists in qbit_manage's web API that allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files from the server filesystem through the restore_config_from_backup endpoint. The vulnerability allows attackers to bypass directory restrictions and read arbitrary files from the server filesystem by manipulating the backup_id parameter with path traversal sequences (e.g., ../). This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.4. |
| Lychee is a free photo-management tool. In versions starting from 6.6.6 to before 6.6.10, an attacker can leak local files including environment variables, nginx logs, other user's uploaded images, and configuration secrets due to a path traversal exploit in SecurePathController.php. This issue has been patched in version 6.6.10. |
| DSpace open source software is a repository application which provides durable access to digital resources. Prior to versions 7.6.4, 8.2, and 9.1, a path traversal vulnerability is possible during the import of an archive (in Simple Archive Format), either from command-line (`./dspace import` command) or from the "Batch Import (Zip)" user interface feature. An attacker may craft a malicious Simple Archive Format (SAF) package where the `contents` file references any system files (using relative traversal sequences) which are readable by the Tomcat user. If such a package is imported, this will result in sensitive content disclose, including retrieving arbitrary files or configurations from the server where DSpace is running. The Simple Archive Format (SAF) importer / Batch Import (Zip) is only usable by site administrators (from user interface / REST API) or system administrators (from command-line). Therefore, to exploit this vulnerability, the malicious payload would have to be provided by an attacker and trusted by an administrator (who would trigger the import). The fix is included in DSpace 7.6.4, 8.2 and 9.1. For those who cannot upgrade immediately, it is possible to manually patch the DSpace backend. (No changes are necessary to the frontend.) A pull request exists which can be used to patch systems running DSpace 7.6.x, 8.x or 9.0. Although it is not possible to fully protect the system via workarounds, one may can apply a best practice. Administrators must carefully inspect any SAF archives (they did not construct themselves) before importing, paying close attention to the `contents` file to validate it does not reference files outside of the SAF archives. |
| A path traversal vulnerability has been reported to affect several product versions. If a local attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to read the contents of unexpected files or system data.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following versions:
Qfinder Pro Mac 7.13.0 and later
Qsync for Mac 5.1.5 and later
QVPN Device Client for Mac 2.2.8 and later |
| dpanel is an open source server management panel written in Go. In versions 1.2.0 through 1.7.2, dpanel allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files from the server via the /api/app/compose/get-from-uri API endpoint. The vulnerability exists in the GetFromUri function in app/application/http/controller/compose.go, where the uri parameter is passed directly to os.ReadFile without proper validation or access control. A logged-in attacker can exploit this flaw to read sensitive files from the host system, leading to information disclosure. No patched version is available as of this writing. |
| kotaemon is an open-source RAG-based tool for document comprehension. From versions 0.10.6 and prior, in libs/ktem/ktem/index/file/ui.py, the index_fn method accepts both URLs and local file paths without validation. The pipeline streams these paths directly and stores them, enabling attackers to traverse directories (e.g. ../../../../../.env) and exfiltrate sensitive files. This issue has been patched via commit 37cdc28, in version 0.10.7 which has not been made public at time of publication. |
| Model Context Protocol Servers is a collection of reference implementations for the model context protocol (MCP). Versions of Filesystem prior to 0.6.4 or 2025.7.01 could allow access to unintended files in cases where the prefix matches an allowed directory. Users are advised to upgrade to 0.6.4 or 2025.7.01 resolve. |
| A path traversal vulnerability in unauthenticated upload functionality allows a malicious actor to upload binaries and scripts to the server’s configuration and web root directories, achieving remote code execution on the Unified PAM server. |
| In scan.rs in spytrap-adb before 0.3.5, matches for known stalkerware are not rendered in the interactive user interface. |
| A vulnerability in the NuPoint Unified Messaging (NPM) component of Mitel MiCollab through 9.8 SP2 (9.8.2.12) could allow an unauthenticated attacker to conduct a path traversal attack due to insufficient input validation. A successful exploit could allow unauthorized access, enabling the attacker to view, corrupt, or delete users' data and system configurations. |
| A path traversal vulnerability has been reported to affect VioStor. If a remote attacker gains an administrator account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to read the contents of unexpected files or system data.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version:
VioStor 5.1.6 build 20250621 and later |
| SysmonElixir is a system monitor HTTP service in Elixir. Prior to version 1.0.1, the /read endpoint reads any file from the server's /etc/passwd by default. In v1.0.1, a whitelist was added that limits reading to only files under priv/data. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.1. |
| GitForge.jl is a unified interface for interacting with Git "forges." Versions prior to 5.9.1 lack input validation of input validation for user-provided values in certain functions. In the `GitHub.repo()` function, the user can provide any string for the `repo_name` field. These inputs are not validated or safely encoded and are sent directly to the server. This means a user can add path traversal patterns like `../` in the input to access any other endpoints on `api.github.com` that were not intended. Users should upgrade immediately to v5.9.1 or later to receive a patch. All prior versions are vulnerable. No known workarounds are available. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Kingdee Cloud Galaxy Private Cloud BBC System up to 9.0 Patch April 2025 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function BaseServiceFactory.getFileUploadService.deleteFileAction of the file fileUpload/deleteFileAction.jhtml of the component File Handler. The manipulation of the argument filePath leads to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
| GitForge.jl is a unified interface for interacting with Git "forges." Versions prior to 0.4.3 lack input validation for user provided values in certain functions. In the `GitForge.get_repo` function for GitHub, the user can provide any string for the owner and repo fields. These inputs are not validated or safely encoded and are sent directly to the server. This means a user can add path traversal patterns like `../` in the input to access any other endpoints on api.github.com that were not intended. Version 0.4.3 contains a patch for the issue. No known workarounds are available. |
| The file upload feature in OTRS and ((OTRS)) Community Edition has a path traversal vulnerability. This issue permits authenticated agents or customer users to upload potentially harmful files to directories accessible by the web server, potentially leading to the execution of local code like Perl scripts.
This issue affects OTRS: from 7.0.X through 7.0.49, 8.0.X, 2023.X, from 2024.X through 2024.3.2; ((OTRS)) Community Edition: from 6.0.1 through 6.0.34.
