| A flaw in Node.js HTTP request handling causes an uncaught `TypeError` when a request is received with a header named `__proto__` and the application accesses `req.headersDistinct`.
When this occurs, `dest["__proto__"]` resolves to `Object.prototype` rather than `undefined`, causing `.push()` to be called on a non-array. This exception is thrown synchronously inside a property getter and cannot be intercepted by `error` event listeners, meaning it cannot be handled without wrapping every `req.headersDistinct` access in a `try/catch`.

| A memory leak occurs in Node.js HTTP/2 servers when a client sends WINDOW_UPDATE frames on stream 0 (connection-level) that cause the flow control window to exceed the maximum value of 2³¹-1. The server correctly sends a GOAWAY frame, but the Http2Session object is never cleaned up.
This vulnerability affects HTTP2 users on Node.js 20, 22, 24 and 25. |
| NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.25.0 is vulnerable to a degradation of service attack related to parsing long lists of incoming EDNS options. An adversary sending queries with too many EDNS options can hold Unbound threads hostage while they are parsing and creating internal data structures for the options. Coordinated attacks can result in degradation and/or denial of service. Unbound 1.25.1 contains a patch with a fix to limit acceptable incoming EDNS options (100). |
| The undici WebSocket client is vulnerable to a denial-of-service attack via unbounded memory consumption during permessage-deflate decompression. When a WebSocket connection negotiates the permessage-deflate extension, the client decompresses incoming compressed frames without enforcing any limit on the decompressed data size. A malicious WebSocket server can send a small compressed frame (a "decompression bomb") that expands to an extremely large size in memory, causing the Node.js process to exhaust available memory and crash or become unresponsive.
The vulnerability exists in the PerMessageDeflate.decompress() method, which accumulates all decompressed chunks in memory and concatenates them into a single Buffer without checking whether the total size exceeds a safe threshold. |

| ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to 4.5.0, one unauthenticated P2P peer can monopolize all 25 MAX_INBOUND_CONCURRENCY slots in Zebra's inbound mempool download and verification pipeline. In zebrad/src/components/mempool/downloads.rs, the bounded queue was shared globally without per-peer accounting, while peer identity was not carried through Gossip and FullQueue responses were mapped to Response::Nil instead of reaching overload disconnection handling. An attacker can advertise fake transaction identifiers and remain silent so each task holds a slot until TRANSACTION_DOWNLOAD_TIMEOUT, then periodically refill the queue as slots expire. While saturated, honest peer transactions and local sendrawtransaction requests are rejected with MempoolError::FullQueue, although block validation and synchronization continue. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.0. |

| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-tesla tesla allows denial of service via atom table exhaustion in Tesla.Adapter.Mint.
Tesla.Adapter.Mint.open_conn/2 converts the URL scheme of every outgoing request to a BEAM atom via String.to_atom(uri.scheme) with no allow-list validation. BEAM atoms are never garbage-collected and the atom table is bounded (approximately 1,048,576 entries by default). An attacker who can influence the URL of a Tesla request — either via an application-level URL-forwarding feature (webhook, proxy, importer) or via a Location header returned by a server when Tesla.Middleware.FollowRedirects is in the pipeline — can mint one fresh permanent atom per request by varying the scheme string. After enough requests the atom table fills and the VM crashes, taking down the entire application.
This issue affects tesla: from 1.3.0 before 1.18.3. |

| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in Apache Struts. When no fixed locale is configured, the locale used for localized-text lookups is taken from the incoming request, allowing an unauthenticated remote client to cause the framework's internal localized-text caches to grow without bound and exhaust the Java heap, denying service to other users. Applications that configure a fixed locale are not affected.
This issue affects Apache Struts: from 2.0.0 through 2.3.37, from 2.5.0 through 2.5.33, from 6.0.0 through 6.10.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.2.1.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.11.0 or 7.3.0, which fixes the issue. |
| vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.6, the bufferAllocLimit enforcement in lib/setup-sandbox.js does not cover Buffer.concat(list, totalLength) or Buffer.from(arrayLike) with an attacker-controlled length, allowing sandbox code to perform large synchronous host external-memory allocations that bypass the configured cap and can exhaust the host process. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.6. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xen/gntdev: fix error handling in ioctl
When gntdev_ioctl_map_grant_ref() fails to copy the operation result
back to userspace after successfully adding the mapping to the list,
the error path returns -EFAULT without releasing the reference
acquired by gntdev_alloc_map(). The mapping remains in priv->maps
with a refcount of 1, causing a memory leak and a dangling list
entry.
Additionally, gntdev_add_map() may modify map->index to avoid overlap
with existing mappings. Therefore, the index returned to userspace
must be obtained after gntdev_add_map() completes.
Fix this by holding the mutex across gntdev_add_map(), retrieving
the correct index, and copy_to_user(). If copy_to_user() fails,
remove the mapping from the list and release the reference while
still holding the lock.
Fix these issues by properly handling all error cases. |
