CVSS v3.1 |
| rclone versions >= v1.72.0 and <= v1.74.4 (fixed in v1.75.0) contain multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities in the archive backend's SquashFS parser, which relies on the github.com/diskfs/go-diskfs dependency. The parser fails to validate attacker-controlled superblock and metadata values before use. An attacker who can place or modify a SquashFS image in storage exposed through an rclone :archive: remote can craft a malicious image that triggers an integer division-by-zero panic (zero block size), an out-of-bounds slice panic (out-of-range inode metadata offset), or a non-progress CPU loop (truncated metadata stream). Variants 1 and 2 terminate the rclone process and, via 'rclone serve sftp', can crash the entire SFTP server; variant 3 causes sustained CPU consumption. Parsing is lazy, so a victim or remote client must address or descend into the malicious archive object to trigger it. |
| Libevent is an event notification library. Prior to 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha, libevent has an off-by-one stack buffer overflow in evdns.c when dnsname_to_labels formats a name-bearing DNS record at the end of the 64 KB stack buffer allocated by evdns_server_request_format_response. The final-label check permits j plus label_len plus one to equal buf_len, after which the terminating null byte is written to buf[buf_len]. A crafted DNS server response containing PTR, CNAME, MX, NS, or SOA data can trigger the one-byte out-of-bounds write and crash or corrupt the process. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.13 and 2.2.2-alpha. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: prestera: validate firmware header length
prestera_fw_hdr_parse() reads the firmware header before checking
that the firmware image contains that header.
Reject images shorter than struct prestera_fw_header before decoding the
magic and version fields. |
| NoteGen before 0.32.0 grants the Tauri shell plugin shell:allow-execute capability for bash, python, and python3 with arbitrary arguments in the default desktop capabilities. JavaScript running in the application webview can therefore invoke plugin:shell|execute to run attacker-controlled operating system commands with the privileges of the NoteGen process. In combination with script execution in the webview (for example via chat XSS), this enables full remote code execution on the user's machine. |
| A flaw was found in sblim-sfcb. A local attacker with access to the system can exploit an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in the provider-manager's inter-process communication (IPC) message parsing. By sending a specially crafted message, the attacker can cause out-of-bounds memory access, leading to the termination of the provider-manager process and a denial of service. This could also potentially result in limited unintended information disclosure. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in liftoff-sr CIPster 1802525be27d33e19a9a83c163e331a1d13b1892. This impacts an unknown function of the file source/src/enet_encap/encap.cc of the component TCP Encapsulation Receive Path. The manipulation leads to out-of-bounds read. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The identifier of the patch is e8e9dba09bf56962807d3504b783ccdb6287f3e4. To fix this issue, it is recommended to deploy a patch. |
| A vulnerability was found in TRENDnet TEW-755AP up to 20260702. Affected is the function FUN_401000 of the file /sbin/mycli. The manipulation of the argument ssid results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in SKYSEA Client View and SKYMEC IT Manager. If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker who can log in to a Windows system on which the affected product is installed may be able to execute arbitrary code on another Windows system that has the affected product installed and can receive UDP packets from that system. |
| OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. From version 3.4.0 through 3.4.13, a crafted HTJ2K-compressed EXR can crash OpenEXR during normal decode. An HTJ2K-compressed EXR whose JPEG 2000 SIZ fields place the first tile outside the visible image can reach invalid tile and codeblock geometry in the vendored OpenJPH AVX2 decoder, causing a stack out-of-bounds write and denial of service. OpenEXR's HTJ2K path validates the decoded codestream dimensions against the EXR chunk size, but it does not reject SIZ image-offset/tile-grid geometry where the first tile does not intersect the image. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.14. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xsk: require at least 16 bytes of TX metadata
AF_XDP accepts a TX metadata length as small as eight bytes, but every
supported request needs the flags plus at least one eight-byte request
field. Such short metadata also lets the kernel read beyond the registered
area.
Require 16 bytes rather than sizeof(struct xsk_tx_metadata) to preserve
compatibility with applications that do not use launch-time metadata. |
| IBM Power Systems Firmware FW1120.00, FW1110.00 through FW1110.30, FW1060.00 through FW1060.80, and FW950.00 through FW950.H2 is affected by a vulnerability in the ASMI web interface. An unauthenticated attacker with network access can send the FSP a malformed request, allowing arbitrary code execution, giving the attacker full control over the managed system, resulting in a confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/ncsi: fix heap OOB read in NCSI_CMD_SEND_CMD payload length
ncsi_send_cmd_nl() takes the number of bytes to copy from the
attacker-controlled ncsi_pkt_hdr.length field of the in-band packet
header, while the source buffer is the NCSI_ATTR_DATA netlink
attribute whose readable size is nla_len() - sizeof(ncsi_pkt_hdr).
The two length sources are never cross-checked: only
nla_len() >= sizeof(struct ncsi_pkt_hdr) is enforced.
With hdr->length set larger than the attribute payload (up to 65535
against at most 2032 readable bytes), ncsi_cmd_handler_oem() copies
past the end of the netlink attribute buffer with unsafe_memcpy(),
leaking up to ~64KB of kernel heap memory into the transmitted NCSI
command packet. The destination skb is sized by the declared payload,
so the write side does not overflow - this is a pure OOB read /
information leak, reachable with CAP_NET_ADMIN on systems with a
registered NCSI device (e.g. OpenBMC on Aspeed BMC SoCs, where
NET_NCSI=y is standard).
Reject commands whose declared payload extends past the end of the
data attribute.
The issue was found by the autokbug dynamic kernel fuzzer at Tencent
Yunding Lab. |

| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when a rewrite directive uses a regex pattern with distinct, overlapping Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) captures (for example, ^/((.*))$) and a replacement string that references multiple such captures (for example, $1$2) in a redirect or arguments context. An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond their control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR.
Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. |
| Use of inherently dangerous function PQfn(..., result_is_int=0, ...) in PostgreSQL libpq lo_export(), lo_read(), lo_lseek64(), and lo_tell64() functions allows the server superuser to overwrite a client stack buffer with an arbitrarily-large response. Like gets(), PQfn(..., result_is_int=0, ...) stores arbitrary-length, server-determined data into a buffer of unspecified size. Because both the \lo_export command in psql and pg_dump call lo_read(), the server superuser can overwrite pg_dump or psql stack memory. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.4, 17.10, 16.14, 15.18, and 14.23 are affected. |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when the rewrite directive is followed by a rewrite, if, or set directive and an unnamed Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) capture (for example, $1, $2) with a replacement string that includes a question mark (?). An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond its control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. |
