CVE-2026-113352 1 Utox 1 Utox 2026-10-20 7.5 High
uTox through 0.18.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows Tox friends to write arbitrary files by sending absolute or ../ file names to victims with auto-accept enabled. Attackers can overwrite shell startup files or plant crafted .ftinfo resume records that ft_find_resumeable() loads, abusing FILE pointers to write /proc/self/mem and execute code.
CVE-2026-113651 1 Apostrophecms 2 Apostrophecms, Uploadfs 2026-10-20 3.3 Low
ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system, and uploadfs is its file storage library. Prior to uploadfs 1.28.0, attacker-controlled paths that reach the local backend can contain parent-directory segments that escape the configured upload directory and affect file reads, writes, and deletion on the host filesystem. Exploitability depends on an application exposing the relevant uploadfs operations to untrusted path. This issue is fixed in uploadfs 1.28.0.

CVE-2026-112946 1 Vitejs 2 Vite, Vite-plus 2026-10-20 3.7 Low
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. Prior to 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3, import analysis can record a root-relative browser URL in safeModulePaths instead of the cleaned resolved module identifier. On a network-accessible, non-Windows development server, an imported project file whose URL matches an absolute host path can authorize a later raw-filesystem request for that host file, provided server.fs.deny does not block it. The request can disclose the matching file outside the project root, but it does not allow arbitrary path traversal because the host path must correspond to a project-relative URL authorized by the application graph. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3.
CVE-2026-113392 1 Draytek 2 Vigor2960, Vigor2960 Firmware 2026-10-20 7.4 High
A vulnerability was found in DrayTek Vigor2960 1.5.1.6 Revision 8218. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi of the component Apmupload. Performing a manipulation of the argument action results in path traversal. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version 1.5.1.7 is able to resolve this issue. Upgrading the affected component is advised. The vendor explains: "2960 1.5.1.7 has corrected many security issues. And 2960 is EoS with limited support, only major issues would be reviewed(e.g. unauthenticated vuln.)". This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
CVE-2026-84882 1 Ibm 1 Guardium Data Protection 2026-10-20 7.5 High
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 is vulnerable to path traversal in the Universal Connector Oracle Wallet upload component. An authenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to write arbitrary files to the system.
CVE-2026-85029 1 Ibm 1 Guardium Data Protection 2026-10-20 7.5 High
IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, delete arbitrary files, or execute arbitrary code due to improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory.
CVE-2026-6968 2 Amazon, Aws 4 Tough, Tuftool, Tough and 1 more 2026-10-20 5.9 Medium
Incomplete path traversal fixes in awslabs/tough before tough-v0.22.0 allow remote authenticated users with delegated signing authority to write files outside intended output directories via absolute target names in copy_target/link_target, symlinked parent directories in save_target, or symlinked metadata filenames in SignedRole::write, because write paths trust the joined destination path without post-resolution containment verification. We recommend you upgrade to tough-v0.22.0 / tuftool-v0.15.0.
CVE-2026-92162 1 Flatpak 1 Flatpak 2026-10-20 N/A
Flatpak is a system for building, distributing, and running sandboxed desktop applications on Linux. Prior to version 1.18.1, on systems where at least one OCI remote is configured (most common on Fedora systems), a malicious local user in an active local session could use a crafted architecture name to trick the `flatpak-system-helper` process into creating a root-owned directory tree with contents determined by the OCI remote, plus a root-owned `lock` file and `icons` directory, outside the intended root directory. If this vulnerability is combined with other vulnerabilities also fixed in 1.18.1, the combination can lead to local root privilege escalation. This particular vulnerability is not believed to be exploitable if there are no OCI remotes configured (common on non-Fedora systems). Version 1.18.1 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-113395 1 Draytek 2 Vigor2960, Vigor2960 Firmware 2026-10-20 7.4 High
A security flaw has been discovered in DrayTek Vigor2960 1.5.1.6 Revision 8218. The affected element is the function cgiEscape of the file /cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi of the component swmconfigupload. The manipulation of the argument multipart results in path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.5.1.7 is sufficient to fix this issue. The affected component should be upgraded. The vendor explains: "2960 1.5.1.7 has corrected many security issues. And 2960 is EoS with limited support, only major issues would be reviewed(e.g. unauthenticated vuln.)". This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.

CVE-2026-79985 1 Apache 2 Apache Camel, Camel 2026-10-20 7.4 High
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel SMB component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.2.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The Camel remote-file consumers poll a directory on a remote server and build the absolute remote path of each file by concatenating the configured directory with the file name reported in the server's directory listing. That concatenation (FtpUtils.absoluteFilePath and GenericFileConsumer) applied no lexical normalization and no check that the result stayed inside the directory being polled, and the resulting path became the operand for every subsequent remote operation on the file: retrieval (FtpOperations.retrieveFile / SftpOperations, reached from GenericFileConsumer where the retrieve name is taken verbatim from GenericFile.getAbsoluteFilePath), deletion when delete=true (GenericFileDeleteProcessStrategy), and renaming when move, preMove, moveFailed or readLock=rename is configured (GenericFileProcessStrategySupport and GenericFileRenameExclusiveReadLockStrategy). Neither isValidFile nor isMatched performed any containment check. A listing entry that is not a single path segment therefore resolved to a path outside the configured polling directory, causing Camel to read, delete or rename files outside it using the endpoint's own credentials. A listing name is not route-controlled data. It is supplied by the remote server, and the FTP control channel carries no integrity protection at all, so an on-path attacker can rewrite a LIST response without holding any credentials; a compromised, malicious or multi-tenant server, or a server backed by a virtual filesystem, can emit such a name directly. Retrieval is reachable in a default consumer configuration, since the remote consumers download every listed file; deletion and renaming additionally require one of the disposition options above, all of which are common. Escape from the directory Camel was configured to poll is unconditional, while escape from the server's own account boundary additionally depends on whether that server confines the account. The jailStartingDirectory option, which is documented as restricting Camel to the starting directory and is enabled by default, governed producer writes and, since the localWorkDirectory containment work, consumer downloads to the local work directory - but it did not constrain this remote operand, so its name and description claimed a boundary that was not enforced here. The same entry point had already been recognised on the local side: the localWorkDirectory download path was constrained so that a remote file name containing parent-directory segments could not resolve outside the local work directory. The remote operand was the remaining half of that surface. This artifact provides the smb scheme. Its consumer walks the share listing on its own rather than through RemoteFileConsumer, skipping only the exact "." and ".." entries, so a name carrying traversal segments in any other form was concatenated unchecked. Reaching it requires a server that emits a listing name which is not a single path segment, which a conforming SMB2 implementation does not do; the exposure was corrected on the same basis as the other remote-file consumers rather than from a demonstrated proof of concept against this scheme. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.22.x releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. The 4.14.x stream reached end of life and does not receive this fix; users on it should move to a supported releases stream.
CVE-2026-79984 1 Apache 2 Apache Camel, Camel 2026-10-20 7.4 High
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel Mina SFTP component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.18.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The Camel remote-file consumers poll a directory on a remote server and build the absolute remote path of each file by concatenating the configured directory with the file name reported in the server's directory listing. The same entry point had already been recognised on the local side: the localWorkDirectory download path was constrained so that a remote file name containing parent-directory segments could not resolve outside the local work directory. The remote operand was the remaining half of that surface. This artifact provides the mina-sftp scheme, an alternative SFTP implementation whose consumer derives from the same RemoteFileConsumer base class and therefore inherited the same unconstrained resolution.
