Insecure Permission vulnerability in Agasta Sanketlife 2.0 Pocket 12-Lead ECG Monitor FW Version 3.0 allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service via the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) component.
Incorrect default permissions in some Intel(R) Gaudi(R) software installers before version 1.18 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
The Goodwy com.goodwy.dialer (aka Right Dialer) application through 5.1.0 for Android enables any application (with no permissions) to place phone calls without user interaction by sending a crafted intent via the com.goodwy.dialer.activities.DialerActivity component.
NVIDIA Installer for NvAPP for Windows contains a vulnerability in the FrameviewSDK installation process, where an attacker with local unprivileged access could modify files in the Frameview SDK directory. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to escalation of privileges.
Buildroot before 0b2967e lacks the sticky bit for the /dev/shm directory. A fix was released in 2024.02.2.
| PAX Android based POS devices allow for escalation of privilege via improperly configured scripts.
An attacker must have shell access with system account privileges in order to exploit this vulnerability.
A patch addressing this issue was included in firmware version PayDroid_8.1.0_Sagittarius_V11.1.61_20240226. |
Delinea Privilege Manager before 12.0.2 mishandles the security of the Windows agent.
A vulnerability in Jamf Pro's Jamf Remote Assist tool allows a local, non-privileged user to escalate their privileges to root on MacOS systems.
Certain software builds for the Itel Vision 3 Turbo Android device contain a vulnerable pre-installed app with a package name of com.transsion.autotest.factory (versionCode='7', versionName='1.8.0(220310_1027)') that allows local third-party apps to execute arbitrary shell commands in its context (system user) due to inadequate access control. No permissions or special privileges are necessary to exploit the vulnerability in the com.transsion.autotest.factory app. No user interaction is required beyond installing and running a third-party app. The vulnerability allows local apps to access sensitive functionality that is generally restricted to pre-installed apps, such as programmatically performing the following actions: granting arbitrary permissions (which can be used to obtain sensitive user data), installing arbitrary apps, video recording the screen, wiping the device (removing the user's apps and data), injecting arbitrary input events, calling emergency phone numbers, disabling apps, accessing notifications, and much more. The confirmed vulnerable software build fingerprints for the Itel Vision 3 Turbo device are as follows: Itel/F6321/itel-S661LP:11/RP1A.201005.001/GL-V92-20230105:user/release-keys, Itel/F6321/itel-S661LP:11/RP1A.201005.001/GL-V86-20221118:user/release-keys, Itel/F6321/itel-S661LP:11/RP1A.201005.001/GL-V78-20221101:user/release-keys, Itel/F6321/itel-S661LP:11/RP1A.201005.001/GL-V64-20220803:user/release-keys, Itel/F6321/itel-S661LP:11/RP1A.201005.001/GL-V61-20220721:user/release-keys, Itel/F6321/itel-S661LP:11/RP1A.201005.001/GL-V58-20220712:user/release-keys, and Itel/F6321/itel-S661LP:11/RP1A.201005.001/GL-V051-20220613:user/release-keys. This malicious app sends a broadcast Intent to the receiver component named com.transsion.autotest.factory/.broadcast.CommandReceiver with the path to a shell script that it creates in its scoped storage directory. Then the com.transsion.autotest.factory app will execute the shell script with "system" privileges.
An issue was discovered on Brother MFC-J491DW C1806180757 devices. The printer's web-interface password hash can be retrieved without authentication, because the response header of any failed login attempt returns an incomplete authorization cookie. The value of the authorization cookie is the MD5 hash of the password in hexadecimal. An attacker can easily derive the true MD5 hash from this, and use offline cracking attacks to obtain administrative access to the device.
Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - Thanks Extension, Mediawiki - Growth Experiments Extension allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.This issue affects Mediawiki - Thanks Extension, Mediawiki - Growth Experiments Extension: from 1.43 before 1.44.
Local privilege escalation due to incorrect assignment of privileges of temporary files in the update mechanism of G DATA Management Server. This vulnerability allows a local, unprivileged attacker to escalate privileges on affected installations by placing a crafted ZIP archive in a globally writable directory, which gets unpacked in the context of SYSTEM and results in arbitrary file write.
A misconfiguration in the AndroidManifest.xml file in hamza417/inure before build97 allows for task hijacking. This vulnerability permits malicious applications to inherit permissions of the vulnerable app, potentially leading to the exposure of sensitive information. An attacker can create a malicious app that hijacks the legitimate Inure app, intercepting and stealing sensitive information when installed on the victim's device. This issue affects all Android versions before Android 11.
Incorrect default permissions in some onboard video driver software before version 1.14 for Intel(R) Server Boards based on Intel(R) 62X Chipset may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Privilege escalation in Automatic Systems Maintenance SlimLane 29565_d74ecce0c1081d50546db573a499941b10799fb7 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the FtpConfig.php page.
XWiki AdminTools integrates administrative tools for managing a running XWiki instance. Prior to version 1.1, users without admin rights have access to AdminTools.SpammedPages. View rights are not restricted only to admin users for AdminTools.SpammedPages. While no data is visible to non admin users, the page is still accessible. This issue has been patched in version 1.1. A workaround involves setting the view rights for the AdminTools space to be only available for the XWikiAdminGroup.
Under certain circumstances the impacted Software House C•CURE 9000 installer will utilize unnecessarily wide permissions.
Local privilege escalation in G DATA Security Client due to incorrect assignment of privileges to directories. This vulnerability allows a local, unprivileged attacker to escalate privileges on affected installations by placing an arbitrary executable in a globally writable directory resulting in execution by the SetupSVC.exe service in the context of SYSTEM.
COMFAST CF-WR630AX v2.7.0.2 was discovered to contain a hardcoded password vulnerability in /etc/shadow, which allows attackers to log in as root.
Incorrect default permissions in some Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor memory controller configurations when using Intel(R) SGX may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
