| An Integer Underflow (Wrap or Wraparound) vulnerability in the srxpfe of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved on the SRX Series allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to cause a forwarding-plane denial of service via an ICMP message associated with an SVR carrier session. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Fix out-of-bounds read of rtt_min in sock_ops
A sockops prog reading skops->rtt_min never checks the sk type: on the
tcp_conn_request() path sock_ops->sk is a request_sock (non-full), and the
ctx rewrite casts it to a tcp_sock (full) and reads rtt_min past the end of
the request_sock, returning dirty adjacent memory.
SEC("sockops")
int prog(struct bpf_sock_ops *skops)
{
switch (skops->op) {
case BPF_SOCK_OPS_RWND_INIT:
leak = skops->rtt_min; /* reads the request_sock OOB */
...
}
}
For instance one such read returned rtt_min=0xffff8881, the high half of a
leaked kernel pointer.
Guarding that cast is exactly what SOCK_OPS_GET_FIELD() does -- it checks
is_locked_tcp_sock and returns 0 when sock_ops->sk is not a locked full
socket. Every other tcp_sock field in sock_ops goes through it; rtt_min is
the only one open-coded, so it skips the check.
Read rtt_min through SOCK_OPS_GET_FIELD() too. rtt_min is a bit special:
it is a struct minmax and we only want the current min, so pass
rtt_min.s[0].v. That is equivalent to the old hand-computed offset
offsetof(struct tcp_sock, rtt_min) + sizeof_field(struct minmax_sample, t)
(s[0] sits at rtt_min + 0 and .v at + sizeof(.t), i.e. what minmax_get()
returns), so the loaded field is unchanged and only the full-sock guard is
added. The two BUILD_BUG_ON()s that protected the hand-computed offset
are no longer needed.
Before patch:
0: r1 = *(u64 *)(r1 +0) ; r1 = skops->sk
1: r1 = *(u32 *)(r1 +2324) ; ((tcp_sock *)sk)->rtt_min.s[0].v
After patch:
0: *(u64 *)(r1 +56) = r9
1: r9 = *(u8 *)(r1 +50) ; is_locked_tcp_sock
2: if r9 == 0 goto pc+4 ; not a locked full sock -> 0
3: r9 = *(u64 *)(r1 +56)
4: r1 = *(u64 *)(r1 +0) ; r1 = skops->sk
5: r1 = *(u32 *)(r1 +2324) ; rtt_min.s[0].v
6: goto pc+2
7: r9 = *(u64 *)(r1 +56)
8: r1 = 0 |
| Komodo through 2.3.3 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the Periphery agent that allows unauthenticated attackers to connect as a trusted Core because empty core_public_keys and passkeys lists fail open by default. Attackers reaching port 8120 can present any generated keypair to issue Periphery API requests, including terminal sessions and container operations, executing commands on managed hosts typically as root. |
| A vulnerability exists in NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source when a location is configured that uses the alias directive together with rewrite and a set or return directive referencing the $request_filename variable. Alternatively, the same result could be achieved when the $request_filename variable is used in an access log format directive. An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond their control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR.
Impact:
This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX system or to possibly trigger a code execution. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only.
Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. |
| Description
NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_v3_module module. When using HTTP/3 with
proxy_request_buffering on directive, an unauthenticated attacker may be able to inject data in the proxied request.
Impact
This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to
inject data in the proxied request. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only.
Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: adc: ad4030: fix invalid oversampling_ratio validation
In ad4030_set_avg_frame_len(), the logarithm is calculated before input
validation. Passing zero or negative values leads to an undefined result
from ilog2().
Validate that the input is strictly positive prior to computing its
logarithm. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
squashfs: Add dictionary size range check to prevent shift-out-of-bounds
When an abnormal SquashFS image (COMP_OPTS flag is 1 but dictionary size
is 0) is mounted, and performs shift operations using dictionarysize, the
shift exponent is -1, causing a shift-out-of-bounds.
Detail as below:
squashfs_comp_opts(msblk, buffer, length)
squashfs_xz_comp_opts()
if (comp_opts)
n = ffs(opts->dict_size) - 1;<----opts->dict_size=0, n=-1
if (opts->dict_size != (1 << n) && opts->dict_size !=
(1 << n) + (1 << (n + 1))) <----shift-out-of-bounds
Fix it by adding a dictionary size range check before the shift operation. |
| NVIDIA Warp contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a heap-based buffer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service. |
| A heap buffer overflow in HPE NonStop NDSREST could corrupt resume-execution address and may potentially redirect execution flow. |
| A heap buffer overflow in HPE NonStop OCAX could corrupt address space and may potentially redirect execution flow. |
| A buffer overflow vulnerability in HPE NonStop XABroker may cause memory corruption, resulting in application crash. |
| A corrupted file may cause out-of-bounds read in HPE NonStop SQL/MX EXE under certain conditions, potentially leading to information disclosure, process termination, CPU halt, or data corruption. |
| Flexible GraphRAG is a Python framework for building graph and retrieval-augmented generation applications across multiple graph, vector, and search backends. From 0.6.0 until 0.8.2, the _escape() helper in flexible-graphrag/langchain/graph/pg_store_adapters/falkordb_adapter.py escapes quotes before backslashes and then interpolates the result into Cypher assembled by FalkorDBAdapter.add_graph_documents, allowing an inserted escape to be doubled and a quote to terminate the string early. When GRAPH_BACKEND=langchain and GRAPH_DB=falkordb are configured, attacker-influenced ingested document content can cause the extraction model to produce malicious entity or relationship values that reach these queries, allowing injected Cypher clauses to modify or delete graph data and, when the calling code surfaces query results to the user or LLM, disclose graph data. Dynamic node and relationship type identifiers are also inserted into backtick-quoted query positions without safe parameterization. The LlamaIndex FalkorDB store is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2. |
| AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to 3.14.4, the Secure attribute for a shared cookie is not enforced. An attacker can consequently cause a shared cookie marked Secure to be sent with an unencrypted request. This issue is fixed in version 3.14.4. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the logs settings functionality could allow an authenticated attacker to achieve code execution. |
| Epic Games Unreal Engine versions up to and including 5.8.0 ship with an insecure default configuration for the LaunchURL Blueprint node (UKismetSystemLibrary::LaunchURL). The URL scheme filter (FURLRequestFilter) is empty by default, which permits all URL schemes. On Windows, this results in a call to ShellExecuteW() with the open verb, so a supplied file:/// URI causes the referenced file to be executed. Any Unreal Engine game that loads user-generated content containing Blueprints is vulnerable to command execution via a malicious local file or a remote file on a WebDAV share. This is an instance of CWE-1188 (Initialization of a Resource with an Insecure Default). |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the FileProcess::CheckDir function could allow a remote authenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution via a path longer than 1024 bytes. |
| An integer underflow exists in the DNS proxy component of the macOS NetworkExtension system extension shipped with Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent (GPA) for macOS, whereby if a UDP datagram shorter than 96 bytes that begins with a specific value is received, a subsequent size computation underflows to a near-SIZE_MAX value, causing an allocation failure and uncaught Objective-C exception that aborts the root system extension. |
| A vulnerability in the Snort 3 Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Decompression Engine of multiple Cisco products could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to improper range checking when Snort 3 decompresses VBA data, which is user controlled. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted VBA data to the Snort 3 Detection Engine of a targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause an overflow of stack data, which could result in a DoS condition. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu/vcn: set no_user_fence for VCN v5.0.1 enc ring
VCN encoder and decoder rings do not support 64-bit user fence writes,
reject CS submissions with user fences.
