CVE-2026-73228 1 Encode 1 Django Rest Framework 2026-08-13 5.3 Medium
Django REST framework is a toolkit for building Web APIs. Prior to 3.17.2, Django REST Framework's request.data parsing in rest_framework/request.py Request._parse() passes the underlying HttpRequest stream to JSONParser and FormParser for application/json and application/x-www-form-urlencoded bodies, bypassing Django's DATA_UPLOAD_MAX_MEMORY_SIZE protection and allowing oversized request bodies to consume additional memory and CPU. This issue is fixed in version 3.17.2.
CVE-2025-71396 1 Surrealdb 1 Surrealdb 2026-08-13 6.5 Medium
SurrealDB before 2.0.5, 2.1.x before 2.1.5, and 2.2.x before 2.2.2 does not enforce a default execution-time limit on embedded JavaScript scripting functions when the scripting capability is explicitly enabled (via --allow-scripting or --allow-all). An authenticated attacker can submit long-running JavaScript functions to exhaust server resources and cause a denial of service. Scripting is disabled by default.
CVE-2026-44579 1 Vercel 1 Next.js 2026-08-13 7.5 High
Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From to before 15.5.16 and 16.2.5, applications using Partial Prerendering through the Cache Components feature can be vulnerable to connection exhaustion through crafted POST requests to a server action. In affected configurations, a malicious request can trigger a request-body handling deadlock that leaves connections open for an extended period, consuming file descriptors and server capacity until legitimate users are denied service. This vulnerability is fixed in 15.5.16 and 16.2.5.
CVE-2026-44577 1 Vercel 1 Next.js 2026-08-13 5.9 Medium
Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From 10.0.0 to before 15.5.16 and 16.2.5, when self-hosting Next.js with the default image loader, the Image Optimization API fetches local images entirely into memory without enforcing a maximum size limit. An attacker could cause out-of-memory conditions by requesting large local assets from the /_next/image endpoint that match the images.localPatterns configuration (by default, all patterns are allowed). This vulnerability is fixed in 15.5.16 and 16.2.5.
CVE-2026-42587 2 Io.netty, Netty 3 Netty-codec-http, Netty-codec-http2, Netty 2026-08-13 7.5 High
Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, HttpContentDecompressor accepts a maxAllocation parameter to limit decompression buffer size and prevent decompression bomb attacks. This limit is correctly enforced for gzip and deflate encodings via ZlibDecoder, but is silently ignored when the content encoding is br (Brotli), zstd, or snappy. An attacker can bypass the configured decompression limit by sending a compressed payload with Content-Encoding: br instead of Content-Encoding: gzip, causing unbounded memory allocation and out-of-memory denial of service. The same vulnerability exists in DelegatingDecompressorFrameListener for HTTP/2 connections. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final.

CVE-2026-40983 1 Spring 1 Micrometer 2026-08-13 7.5 High
In Micrometer, it is possible for a user to provide specially crafted gRPC requests that may cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. Affected versions: Micrometer 1.16.0 through 1.16.5; 1.15.0 through 1.15.11.
CVE-2026-48809 1 Miguelgrinberg 1 Python-engineio 2026-08-13 7.5 High
python-engineio is a Python implementation of the Engine.IO realtime client and server. Versions prior to 4.13.2 have two specific configurations of the python-engineio server in which the size of incoming messages is not checked before the messages are loaded into memory. An attacker can take advantage of these to cause unnecessary memory allocations in the python-engineio server. The two cases are POST requests, when using ASGI with the long polling transport and WebSocket messages, when using Aiohttp with the WebSocket transport. Version 4.13.2 addresses this issue. ASGI severs now only load the body of incoming requests into memory after the client is confirmed to be known and authenticated, and the payload size is below the maximum allowed size. Requests that do not comply with these requirements are discarded. Aiohttp servers configure the maximum payload size in the underlying WebSocket layer from Aiohttp, so that large messages are discarded by Aiohttp before they are delivered to python-engineio.
CVE-2026-63133 1 Cisagov 1 Malcolm 2026-08-13 6.5 Medium
Malcolm is a network traffic analysis tool suite. Prior to version 26.07.0, `safe-extract.py` extracts uploaded archives with no limit on entry count, directory depth, total entries, or output size. A small malicious archive containing a large number of directory or file entries causes the filebeat processing container to create an unbounded number of filesystem objects, exhausting inodes or filesystem metadata and denying service to the processing pipeline and any service sharing the same mount. Version 26.07.0 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-71408 1 Fortinet 1 Fortios 2026-08-13 5 Medium
A allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.6, FortiOS 7.4 all versions, FortiOS 7.2 all versions may allow attacker to denial of service via <insert attack vector here>
CVE-2026-73214 1 Coturn 1 Coturn 2026-08-12 7.5 High
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.16.0, dtls_server_input_handler() and create_new_connected_udp_socket() in src/apps/relay/dtls_listener.c retain OpenSSL dtls1_reassemble_fragment() state for a 35-byte fragmented ClientHello declaring a 650,000-byte handshake before cookie validation, allowing an unauthenticated remote sender using fresh UDP tuples to exhaust memory without TURN credentials, a completed handshake, a valid cookie, or source spoofing. This issue is fixed in version 4.16.0.
CVE-2026-63299 1 Canonical 1 Lxd 2026-08-12 8.5 High
An authorization bypass vulnerability in LXD allows an authenticated user to bypass project-level disk and volume limits. Two related code paths fail to verify resource limits during volume operations: the storagePoolVolumeTypePostMove function omits the limits.AllowVolumeCreation check before moving a volume across projects, and volume snapshot restore operations skip the AllowVolumeUpdate check when the configuration is nil (Config == nil). An attacker can exploit these flaws to allocate storage resources that exceed the administrative limits configured for a project.
CVE-2026-47013 1 Oracle 3 Java Se, Jdk, Jre 2026-08-12 5.3 Medium
Vulnerability in Oracle Java SE (component: JavaFX). The supported version that is affected is Oracle Java SE: 8u491. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Oracle Java SE. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Java SE. Note: This vulnerability can be exploited by using APIs in the specified Component, e.g., through a web service which supplies data to the APIs. This vulnerability also applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.3 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L).
CVE-2025-15682 1 Tbea 1 Tbea Tlogger 2026-08-12 N/A
TBEA TLogger V2.1.0.0B0.0.0.0 contains an unauthenticated resource exhaustion vulnerability in its web server. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send PUT requests to the /tmp/ endpoint, causing the web server to create persistent files containing attacker-controlled data under /opt/myapp/webserver/. The generated files are not removed because the web server attempts to move them into a non-existent directory. Repeated requests can therefore exhaust available storage and cause a denial-of-service condition.
CVE-2026-16756 1 Aws 1 Aws-smithy-http-server 2026-08-12 7.5 High
Missing connection and header-read timeouts and the absence of a concurrent-connection cap in the default serve() path of Amazon aws-smithy-http-server might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service by opening many connections and sending partial requests that are never completed, exhausting server sockets and tasks. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to aws-smithy-http-server 0.66.5 or later.
CVE-2025-41770 1 Phoenix Contact 17 Axc F 1152 Firmware, Axc F 1252 Firmware, Axc F 2000 Ea Firmware and 14 more 2026-08-12 7.5 High
An unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability in the device's PLCnext Engineer communication interface allow an remote attacker to interrupt access via the client application. Successful exploitation prevents communication until the PLCnext service is manually restarted.
CVE-2026-64291 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Set veventq_depth upper bound iommufd_veventq_alloc() accepts any !0 veventq_depth from userspace, with an upper bound at U32_MAX. This leaves a vulnerability where userspace can allocate excessively large queues to exhaust kernel memory reserves. Cap the veventq_depth (maximum number of entries) to 1 << 19, matching the maximum number of entries in the SMMUv3 EVTQ (the largest use case today).
CVE-2026-64292 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-12 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Move vevent memory allocation outside spinlock The veventq memory allocation happens inside the spinlock. Given its depth is decided by the user space, this leaves a vulnerability, where userspace can allocate large queues to exhaust atomic memory reserves. Move the allocation outside the spinlock and use GFP_NOWAIT, which can fail fast under memory pressure without dipping into the GFP_ATOMIC reserves or direct-reclaiming from the threaded IRQ handler. On allocation failure, queue the lost_events_header (so userspace learns of the drop) and return -ENOMEM so the caller learns of the kernel-side memory pressure. This is intentionally distinct from the queue-overflow path, which also queues the lost_events_header but returns 0: a full queue is an expected userspace-pacing condition rather than a kernel error. A subsequent change will cap the upper bound of the veventq_depth.
CVE-2026-50011 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-08-12 7.5 High
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, RedisArrayAggregator pre-allocates ArrayList with initial capacity equal to the RESP array element count declared in an array header. That count is taken from the wire before the corresponding child messages exist. A small malicious header can claim a huge initial capacity. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
CVE-2026-46340 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-08-12 7.5 High
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In versions of netty-transport-sctp prior to 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, for each non-complete SctpMessage fragment the handler does `fragments.put(streamId, Unpooled.wrappedBuffer(frag, byteBuf))`, wrapping the previous accumulator and the new slice into a *new* CompositeByteBuf every time. After N fragments the accumulator is an N-deep chain of composites, each holding references and component arrays; readableBytes()/getBytes() on the final buffer recurse N levels. There is no limit on N, on total bytes, or on the number of streamIdentifiers an attacker can open (each gets its own map entry). A peer that never sets the `complete` flag can grow this structure indefinitely from tiny 1-byte DATA chunks. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
